I actually have 0 preference to any of those starters for a change, at least at first glance :/

Maybe if it turns out one of them has cool typing when it evolves it'll stand out for me.

There was an excellent part in Saints Row 2 where you bury some crime boss' son alive in a cemetary because he's a dick, it was a good mission!

DJ SonicFreak – Sonic 1 Special Stage Rap Beat

I dislike rap at the best of times so a "rap" without the actual rapping is possibly the most lackluster thing I can imagine.

IT'S TIME FOR SOME NIGHTCORE

I discovered nightcore like two days ago and it's temporarily the best thing ever.

By forcing a Multiple Game Race you're forcing anyone who wants in to play both games even if they only want to touch one of them.

Don't want to race the only game with decent substance? Race Robotnik's Revenge some other time!

Starting a 5 minute race, then having to wait for all entrants to finish, then making a new room on SRL, then waiting for everyone to be ready so that we can race the actual good game is 100% ass.

ANY % GAME CLEAR OR BUST.

It is really not that hard and/or time consuming to clear death egg from a fresh file, in fact it's about equivalent to the Generations race from a new file.

I beat it mostly blind in around 90 minutes? I say mostly, because on an earlier attempt I had a go at the first and second zones (although I got almost no emeralds in Zone 2), and I watched Thorn play through previously and vaguely remembered a couple of things he did.

tl;dr dying and getting stuck trying to get a single emerald is for suckers, this game is entirely manageable as a "beat the game" race. Also we can just tack robotniks revenge onto it and make it multi-game, which is ideal as it doesn't mean stopping and starting over a 5 minute game.

Also I 100% did not read any other posts in this, I just jumped here on divine intuition

My plan is to carry on derping my way through once my team all hit level 80. So far they're all 74-75, but I still have a fair few post E4 places to explore still!

Yeah he does but Flygon is infinitely superior.

I fukken murdered the elite 4 and the champion, went straight to WhitehollowTreeDungeon and powered my way down to Area 8. My team is now level 71, but it's actually kinda hard for me to smash everyone in my way now, so I'm having to go do other things to level up before I can resume shiny dratini quest :(

Just something to consider, the expected run time for these 3 games is probably about the same as the Generations race from a fresh file, from which no one dropped out, apart from SJ, who left early.

wats so bad about thorn hack and srb2 in one race cum on u gaaaiiizz

edit: or vote for other games and bump them up

Does it matter how it's tracked on SRL? I don't really know much about it other than it's convenient to use and the staff are dicks.

Good to know that it could actually support it as a multi-game race though. Guess we should vote on it!?

Genuine question here; are we having 3 separate races for the 3 highest voted games, or 1 race where the objective is "beat all 3 games".

I am way more interested in the latter, but I'll still turn up and race if it's the former.

S1 RttO, S2 Secret Rings, SRB2.

I was tempted to vote for either Sonic Before the Sequel, but there's so many levels it would probably make the race take upwards of 2 hours.

Because an "improvement" to the system that translates as "some people with the game just sit around and do nothing for a while at the start/end because boo hoo" is a crock of shit.

Forgive me if this idea is stupid, but if you guys are saying that the PC version provides a loading time advantage of 3-7 minutes, you could give the PC players like a 5 minute forfeit or something. So once they've beat the goal, they could time 5 minutes, then .done.

And people playing the PC version of Generations should have hung around and did nothing for 10 minutes at the start of the race because it's "not fair" that the version they're using loads faster than console versions I suppose?

No one brought it up then, so why bother now?
