no, ha. Since when was the last time Mario has plumbed anything anyway.

Though it would be one of the stages that might introduce non-GUN, non-Eggman robots. They might have a more clockwork motif to them since they'd be not as advanced.

anyway for now I just wanted to show off this cool environment in SF3.

go to 1:20, but also be sure to see the christmas tree in round 2

I feel significant regret for never even looking at the game.

I've heard it mentioned on GameTZ boards back then. I assumed it was at best an arcade perfect KoF game and moved on. And in the end the only fighter we had on the Dreamcast was Marvel vs Capcom 2.

What a scam.

I noticed though that the game is on Playstation 2. I still have a Dreamcast tucked away somewhere, but a PS2 version is, to be honest, much more attractive. Well at this rate I am going to decide to get the game soon. Hopefully it's not rare or anything.

edit: oh hell, figures. The PS2 version is a japanese only release. And the Dreamcast game is fairly expensive. Fairly really expensive.

I might just as well wait for the next re-release. >_>

I don't believe I had any idea that Zero was in an actual fighting game!! Pretty awesome:

although this has even less to do with Sonic, I like how Guile looks here, might want to check this out as well:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GD3Jj7lBXS0

In regards to the Mark of the Wolves clip I posted previously, you can download that music. It's the first track on this list and the actual file sounds even better than it does off youtube. Get it here:
http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/6023

Anyway here is a Nightshade track I recommend: (this is a Sega game btw)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/3001

Go there and download "07 - insecticide.mp3" Cool boss music huh?

Then download "15 - flame in the rain.mp3" It's good. This was used for a broken highway stage over a body of water. Would be good for a Sonic game.

From there you might want to check out "04 - arashi.mp3" (music for fighting on a bomber jet in-flight, intense!) "05 - kurohagane beta.mp3" (kinda reminds me of Blast Corps at some parts) "06 - sunset.mp3" (just some nice stage music) All of these are good songs. Everything else in that soundtrack is great listening music as well.

More on Nightshade later.

I don't care, I couldn't wait, I had to show this.

[edit: full version of pic]

First of all, Sonic is turning super in this pic. With that in mind there are three things about this pic I would like to draw attention to. You might notice these on your own:

1. Sonic is turning super with only one chaos emerald. Outlandish, but elegant. It introduces a whole new approach to super Sonic as a character and how it would work in gameplay. (primary example being - Super Sonic is accessible from the start of the game)

2. Sonic is not solemn or super serious or god-like or like a different person while transforming into Super Sonic. He's still Sonic. And he's not turning super because the world or his friends' lives depends on it in any explicit sense. But because it kicks ass.

3. classic 'segasonic'-like stars are eminating from him during his transformation, much like the stars in Sonic CD intro. I'm mixing newschool Sonic with oldschool pizazz. Tell me if it's cool or not.

Thoughts?
