...wow.  Just wow.  If I didn't have somewhere to go in an hour, I'd be downloading this right now.  And... um... not much else to say, I'm kinda speechless.  This is released, and I finally have a signature.  I'm so happy I could cry.
<RPGnutter> Well I think your reasoning was dumb, so you get sassed

I held off on announcing this until it was confirmed (being so close to April 1 and a Cult release), but it now appears that what was alleged yesterday is in fact the truth; Sonic X-Treme is obtainable by all.

Aren't those Culters all a bunch of prankers anyways? (I don't normally go there, don't kill me!) I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a fool. An elaborate scheme devised by Cult to draw attention to themselves as well as to make it look like they were getting in trouble because of it (again).

Hell, for all we know, those screenshots are fake.
<Tails> also "GET BLUE SPHERES" on a black-and-white TV remains the best special stage of all time

<Achlys> wat ave you done!

A lot of them are, but my impression has been that drx isn't. Plus their whole "posting shots cuz of april fools crap" would just look retarded if later they were like "lol it was!!"

But eh, you never can tell.

This is from drx's hacking-cult.org at first, and I doubt he'd ruin his site's reputation with this. Also this prank would be played on Sonic Cult itself as well if it is one. (not much people are all that convinced it is true)

April Fools Day + a long awaited hack download of Sonic X-Treme + Sonic Cult = a sure filre prank. It's pretty heartless and messed up, but realativily strong site and companies have pulled this off before. I know Electronic Gaming Monthly and some other magazines have done this before and they are still going on. I'm sure Cult will be able to get away with this, but meh.

Almost as good as the Sonic in Chaotix hoax.

Well I guess in some ways it was better.

That video is sweet shit though. O_o
