I been trying to do it forever,but the farthest I got was the area where you had to activate those three switches to get to the altar area.

You have to make it to the altar room.

If you are wondering how get to the altar room, you can either use the Thundershoot flying trick where you can fly for a longer period of time, or use the Team Blast, Rocket Accel, jump, and hope you can get to the altar.

its a combination of both.

if it was as simple as a rocket accel team blast'd jump, more people would have done it.
