Go see Iron Man. Its an awesome super hero film that combines action with a superb, sarcastic sense of humor. Just saw it last night.

Thought it was pretty mediocre and simple. They're probably planning the real action for the sequels.

Nah. It's not bad, but if you want to see some real good movies, watch the Spider-Man trilogy. It absolutely pwns.

Tony Stark is a much more compelling character than Peter Parker could ever hope to be. Plus, the whole "becoming Iron Part" part was way better than Pete becoming Spider-Man. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Spider-Man trilogy, but Iron Man just seemed so much more interesting to me.

I could argue with this, but it's just a matter of opinion I guess.
One of the reasons I loved the Spider-Man trilogy was because there was not one moment in any of them that I was just sitting waiting for the next scene (unlike most movies). Each scene was flawlessly executed, with a perfect mix of action and the classic Peter Parker emotional conflict (especially in 3, lol douglas). The first movie was great, outdoing the comics by leaps and bounds.  And each of the sequels lived up to the previous, continuing perfectly the climactic storyline that is...
Spider-Man.

Iron Man was a pretty good movie. In my opinion, I also found it a little more interesting than the Spider-Man trilogy. The action was all right, but the whole technology theme of the movie made it for me. I hope the sequel is great too!

I watched it an hour ago. It's a nice film with an awesome soundtrack. P.P.A. would love it. I expect more action in the sequel. (:

I think that the sequel will, if anything, surpass this.

Why?

Well, it isn't Iron Man 2...

It's the friggin Avengers.

edit: ok fine looks like there is going to be an iron man 2, as well as a myriad other movies in the 'Avengers' series but they do want to make an 'Avengers' movie. yay.
