New Sonic 2 prototype uncovered

drx of hacking cult's got his hands on a Sonic 2 prototype earlier than the previously obtained Sonic 2 Beta. Check it out. Not strictly competition news, but awesome nonetheless.

Awesome!  It's the Alpha version, it looks like.  Star Light music for Emerald Hill and the different level layout... This is the one used on the one episode of Nick Arcade!

Also, during the Chemical Plant demo, it plays with Marble zone music.

Here's the debug code: C,C,C,C, Up, Down, Down, Down, Down, Up, A+START

If it's like 3-4 weeks old, most of us don't want anything to do with it anymore.
