The camera turned when I landed, so I turned it to face at least close to the way I threw the chao (with the R button) and not turning Rouge, then I paused.

I'm not too sure about the one I grabbed on gravity planet (the first one closest to the starting point)...is he effected by the gravity there?

also I suck at running and grabbing.

Quartz Challenge Report v. 1.0

I must state how much I despise not knowing how to kick it up a notch in this game.

Challenge 2: 29"97
Well, I've got sub-30. I don't know how to lower it any further...

Challenge 3: 12 in 2'51"50
Gah! This is annoying! I did this on a somewhat mediocre run, but I couldn't do any better! Though afterwards I did a ring attack of the routes. That's the only good thing.

Challenge 4: 1'02"67
I guess I can do this better, but I don't have any time left to improve... This will do... besides being worse than all others.

Just enough time to slip in one last run for yourself, I see. I was on Messenger for 15 minutes before I realized I was talking to myself *slaps self*. Also, sliding down through ranks right before the challenge closed ftl.

Challenge #5: Bonus Round!

Yeah, SA2:B Challenges has also been infected with that deadly gameshow virus; The Bonus Round!

The rules are simple.

Your starting grade is an E.
By completing one of the set tasks, your grade increases. (One grade per challenge).

Tasks

-Complete City Escape Mission 1 without taking any hits or collecting more than 8 rings.

-In White Jungle Mission 1 at the section with 4 wooden crates before a checkpoint, smash two in a line (vertically) then get on top of the other vertical stack without breaking either of them.

-Beat Sand Ocean Mission 3 without ever firing a laser or a bullet.

-Beat Metal harbor without ever using a light dash or a homing attack.

We don't need to submit times or anything, right? Just say "did it"?

[Actually, I'd recommend it in future. Since there's nothing stopping someone from saying "lol i did all four A rank plz", times would act as a safeguard. If you post a fake, you'll be given the default cheating rank until you do the challenge again. -mike89]

Okay. Did 'em all. City Escape was tough; the others, not so much.

SELF-EDIT: Okay, then... I did Sand Ocean in about 3:30, IIRC, just to be cautious. Metal Harbor took me about 2:30. City Escape took 4:00; again, I was cautious. White Jungle took 5:30, because I didn't realize what to do for a few minutes. Now that I know times are posted, I might go back and do them over.

so here I go...also do I have to explain myself on these?

City Escape: 3:09:00 with 8 rings when I finished...this should have been 5 though.

White Jungle: 2:29:90 I may have to do this again as when I paused it I didn't know where I was, then when I did I fell off and paused again for this time.

Sand Ocean: 1:39:92 This would be faster, but I got stuck on one part...took me a while to figure out how to get past the first pillar though.

Metal Harbor: 2:00:19 Just to be safe, I didn't use Air Dash either.

CE: 4:34:62 The only rings I collected were the rings you are forced to get brfore you race the truck.

MH: 2:45:07 Took me a while to find the rocket under the trail of rings after the air planes.
