Is there any way to get a boost at the beginning of a race in Sonic Drift? You know, like in Mario Kart. My first lap is always about 5 seconds slower than the rest and it's really annoying.

Use Amy Rose. She has a higher acceleration rate than the rest and is the best in Sonic Drift.

lawl, so do I. But on saying that, Sprints vid uses Sonic, and if Sprint uses Sonic, then you can be sure he is the best overall character.

IIRC, Amy's Max Speed sucks anyway

Sprint does in fact use Amy in his vid. I just can't be bothered playing it again to see if I can beat my old times.

Is Amy also the best for Drift 2?

When I started, I played the first course a few times with each character to see which was best.
My brother kept telling me to use Robotnik, but I saw that he's no good.
(but he does have a high top speed like any fat character, right?
I was (and he was) expecting it to be the usual:

Sonic, as the main character, is the all-around good one.
Tails, as the smallest one, has good acceleration.
Robotnik, as the fat guy, has a high max speed and is good for advanced players.
Amy, as Amy, is no good at all. (Twinkle Circuit...)

Sonic and Tails are kind of what I expected, and Robotnik (not "Eggman"!) is bad.
Anyway, I was surprised to see that Amy is really good.

Why can't I watch the sprint video? I can watch avi files but for some reason I can't watch any of them on that site. And if I save it, it does the same thing. All I hear is the noise, but I don't see a picture. Can somebody help? It keeps saying "error getting codec" if that helps.
