Board Games / Re: Horrible Misfortune Game

EDIT:  I had a guess here conditional on where the T's wound up.  They didn't wind up where I thought they would. Thus this post has been removed.

yehhh... y'see, the difference is, the first poster was being witty by running the level over the 1-hour change turning back the clock due to Daylight Savings Time, whereas you're just being an idiot.

General Sonic / Re: Sonic Riders: Copy of Kirby Air Ride or not?
« on: May 13, 2006, 06:36:28 am »
More differences:

KAR
-has Top Ride and City modes
-has one button for everything (albeit a bit like the 'one-button time machine' from Bob and George)
-has no characters new to the series
-has a checklist system of things to do in each mode, which unlock various things
-Has a variety of weapons
-shortcuts are slightly more hidden
-lack of egotistical hedgehogs

Sonic Riders:
-Bikes usable by (almost) all characters, not just one
-Skates
-flight-boost-hoops and power-type-boost-obstacles
-contrary to the previous post, about the same number of different styles of playing (while SRi has more characters and boards, many boards in SRi are fairly similar, whereas changing boards in KAR is often a complete change of tactics)
-Fuel system
-Jump anywhere
-Lack of pink puffballs (while Amy is in the game, anyone calling her a puffball is likely to suffer hammer-related injuries)

"Retiring".  He'll still submit the occasional time.

Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if he's back within a month.

News and Updates / Sonic Rush (and now Shadow!) is live

For the record, I'm against shadow Ring charts.  I don't really like ring charts on the other games but I know those aren't coming down, but let's not put them up since the game doesn't record them.  Especially since at least one level has a built in limit (400 on circus park)
