uh... I already made a guide for these boss strategies waaaaaaaay back. Don't people look at what has already been contributed nowadays?

This is an unintended glitch of some sort that occured while someone tried to submit a stat. I think it has happened before, and it's just one of TSC's glitches. It's nothing lethal.

edit: Oh and btw does someone off hand know how to submit to FFshrine? (aka Galbadia Hotel) They still don't have Sonic06 soundtrack, I really felt that this urgently needs to be remedied.

You have to upload it to rapidshare.de (they specifically request that this website be used) and you have to post a link to it on their forums in order for it to be held on GH.

Well the thing is, we figured out how sna's doing the scores, so it doesn't really matter if he proves it or not now as we can just beat them X)

:O rly.

Then why don't you just explain it to RR here and now to quell his suspicions?

you are kinda sounding like how Psyborg used to act when Shadow was still new.

Quiet you, that never happened. >.>

Well, I personally don't find anything wrong with curiousity. However, I think you are motivated otherwise. If not, you would have contacted S&A before you started this... he probably would have told you what he was doing anyway, but like I said, I don't think this is the case. I think you actually want to eliminate S&A completely, with the thought that if you do so, you'll have a greater chance for the championship. While you also think that it will bring "ding dong the witch is dead, all hail dorothy", it actually won't.

Anyway, I think that if S&A doesn't prove it, it's... okay, I guess, but it'd really satisfy everyone if the record was proved, by strategy guide or video. RR would not do this again because of the humiliation he gets from topics like these, and S&A would be reinforced as (from what we know right now) a legit competitor. It's TSC's decision as a whole though, so I am probably completely ignored right now.

Now that I know no one is reading this, I like explosions. Big ones. Really.

Most people here have knowledge of the Sonic community around us, but regardless, I suppose it deserves a topic or something.

I personally prefer listening to whatever tunes I like. Some day, you might want to listen to E.G.G.M.A.N, or perhaps Flame Core part 2 is more in your taste. That's my view, anyway.

MvC2 is impossible to find at a good price, and is not readily available offline, so I can't get it.

I do own the crap PS1 MvC1 though, which I was influenced to buy once I had played the arcade version (boy, are they different)... I usually played either Strider + Jin or War Machine + Captain America, usually the former though.
Do you hav a DC? Cuz MvC2 is most arcade-perfect on that port, plus im sure they have a reasonable price somewhere like ebay

The whole point is, I don't own a DC, and I can't use E-Bay without my father, so in other words, it's problems.

Here's some criteria to think of.
1. People who have had championships in three or more different games (need not be at the same time) should definately be considered.
2. People who have had more than one championship at the same time (2 or 3 seems most appropiate as a minimum) should definately be considered.

my my, i qualify. >.>

Also yeah, I agree that prominent members should be replaced by this...

I can't believe these have not been posted.

"Look at all of those Eggman's robots!" -Tails (SH)
"Where's that DAMN fourth chaos emerald?" -Shadow (ShtH)
"Agent Shadow, E-123 Omega has engaged Mephiles, head to the Wave Ocean... head to Wave Ocean. ...Agent Shadow, E-123 Omega has engaged Mephiles, head to Wave Ocean immediately." -GUN Agent (S2006)
"Getaloadofthisgetaloadofthisgetaloadofthis." -Eggman (SADX)

Also, I second Groudon's quotes.

Tails

Fang

and you're right.

I'm assuming it is Normal with a 2 match count with a normal energy maximum, right? I just need you guys to affirm this because it isn't in the rules or anything. Or can we select whatever we want? Iunno, it wasn't mentioned last time I checked.

Hiya Folks / Re: Hi!
« on: February 11, 2007, 10:05:44 am »
I joined a week or two ago. I like the idea of competition in Sonic games, that's why I'm here. I'm currently playing Shadow The Hedgehog, completing the Library and competing here at the same time.

Shadow unfortunately has no competition anymore, tis' all scrapped... It used to be a three way competition (usually, anyway) between me, ShadowJacky, and Yoshifan. These three brave warriors ventured out into the battlefield. But they all ran away, except me. "Where am I? Why am I the only person here?" I survived on this battlefield for a while, but I realized I was fighting only mirrors. "I'm going home", so I said.

You're not going to find much help or competition in Shadow, with the exception of if you attack my boss times, in which I will immediately counter you, because that's basically all I remember how to do. If you need help with bosses, though, feel free to ask; I remember most of them, and there are also strategies in my boss guide, of which some are outdated. However, good luck on competing with yourself, and have fun. I'm glad I'm not the only person who likes/(d) Shadow other than Groudon.

P.S: Submit some score and boss records too... because TAing Shadow was not my specialty ok >.>

Plus I missed the fact that these come with the game, we're just downloading the ability to play them.

Are there more modes of play that can be unlocked only through downloads that we currently know of?

58
It is quite fortunate that Rolken has not been paying attention to S2006 as of now, for a new download has just been released for S2006 that could have an impact on the way we compete. If you haven't heard the news, there is now a mode called Very Hard, which is downloadable at the price of 200 Microsoft Points per character. You're probably thinking, "Sega? Hard? Yeah right." or "Cheap bastards." Sure, both may be true to a certain extent, but the question here is not about the actual difficulty of the stages, but rather about what impact Very Hard should have on TSC rankings. I have only been able to play Sonic's missions so far, but I assume these differences also are similarly present in the Very Hard missions for Shadow and Silver.

Let's look at what seperates this from Normal and Hard:

-Stages now have a total maximum time bonus of 100000. Now consider the amount of enemies we have in these stages, and we have a MASSIVE score attack difference between Very Hard and the other modes.

-Some stages are actually played in a different fashion. This affects Time Attack as well as Score Attack capabilities. Let's use Wave Ocean as an example; part 1 begins at the end and ends at the beginning, although if you use Sky Gem (aka Gun Drive), you can simply hit the gate to get out of the stage. (Yeah, silly Sega, I know.) Another fine example is Sonic's Tropical Jungle, where after the usual stuff of part one, we are not sent to the regular part 2; instead, we are sent to a version of the Tropical Ruin which is accessible to the Sonic/Elise combo; this drastic change from the original Tropical Jungle would really change the way we play this stage. Oh, and there are other new changes too;  Flame Core is completed in reverse stage order, Dusty Desert is played without Elise, and a whole other assortment of random changes in stages.

-Some passages that were once accessible by glitch are now blocked. As of now, the only place where I experienced this was Sonic's Kingdom Valley part 2, but there might be more that I don't know of.

Now, I need to ask you guys a few questions so we can solve this problem:

1. Should Very Hard be added to the current ranking plan? (I'm sure most of you will say yes, but if you have an objection, go ahead and say it)
2. How will these be ranked?
3. If we are going to rank these, should they be in freestyle because they cost MS points and would be unfair to those who can't get them, or should they simply be added to the competition flat out because they're really a major part of the competition of S2006? Which one of these quotes do you agree with?

Quote from: F-Man
<F-Man> the game costs money, and then micropayments add to it
<F-Man> people shouldn't have to pay even more than regular price to have fair competition

Quote from: Rolken
(Rolken mentioned previously that Very Hard stats have their own rankings in the game)
<Rolken> ...I see no lack of fairness in them being counted
<Rolken> you have to spend $360+ just to compete anyway
<Rolken> $8 or whatever isn't going to kill anyone

Well? What's your view on this?
