May I ask why ShadowJacky is making a shocking appearance on the INSANE lists?
Because he types "you're" as YOUR.

Pidgey, your opinion is as dead as a triple-shot deer in the neck. Frankly I don't care. But as stated what I did is forgivable cause I only did it because I was jealous back then, now as work my way towards top, i am much better now than then. So if i'm unbanned I'll show you what I mean.
Yeah, you're probably better at cheating unnoticed, but I don't think we want to see that.

Ooh suffle? I thought i coulda been SOOO much better. It had such potential. but seriously, that soda can mingame was crap, that had 2 be THE STUPIDEST minigame eva.
Oh please, one of the most brilliant things about Shuffle is the variety of the mini-games. You need easy ones to counterbalance and get a sense of scale.

Why is such a no-fault game being so unappreciated?

I share your feelings on those god awful controls, but believe me. That's the best half of the game.

I never understood the complaints about the sadistic controls of, say, Sonic Heroes or STH06, but this werehog stuff will kill you repeatedly. Then it'll kill you some more. Mmmm pitfalls.

Get the Hong Kong version of the game. No where near 599$.

No I don't think anyone here bought the game 4 times.

Besides I don't think it's on Xbox 360 and PS3 yet.

And all only to say that http://www.ubuntu.com is PURE EPIC. That was very current with the ongoing subject of things wasn't it.

Don't see why Masolympics wouldn't be on here. Add it to the list of games that could pop up when someone who cares can be arsed.

Smash has nothing to do here however.

I use my GC controller.

For hedgehog stages, Sonic doesn't go exactly where you point. Because he runs too fast or whatever. But even completely stopped, if you want to turn around you have to do it like a tank. Even the super speed sections of Sonic 06 were more responsive.

In werehog stages, the same applies when boosting. And while either walking or boosting, controls during jumps are more akin to Super Mario Bros. 1 (not good for 3D), where you keep your direction during jumps, moving the joystick in another direction only slightly changes it as Werehog Sonic painfully turns on himself and maybe grabs the ledge of the new platform you were aiming for with his nose before falling to his doom. Doesn't help that you're going so slow. Sometimes he won't even jump at all, and you'll walk straight into a pit.

The stiffness of the Sonic 06 controls are also still there, only made 10 times worse by all the above. Just move slight the joystick and you'll move 3 feet forward. What happened to being able to just move half a step if you felt like it?

As I've said in chat, Sonic Team managed to make a not only decent but great character for once. Heck, as far as personality and character development (albeit due to the "amnesia" easy cop-out), Sonic and Tails have nothing on Chip in this game. AND he does comic relief, either as part of the story or in the background while other characters talk. They've finally learned that decent animation isn't just talking and the occasional short-and-fast action.

As for the game it's decent, but knowing that it could once again have been twice as good if the controls were right (how hard can it be to copy from a previous game and make small adjustments based on the level design?), it's another disappointment for me.

How about my bio from some years past while we're doing the whining.

This is similar to when a rule was put in place for Hot Shelter - Gamma that forbid shooting switches, or forced only a number of hits allowed. It was impossible in normal play and near impossible when paying attention, so I disputed the rule.

I was of the opinion to just go back to infinite hitting allowed, but that was just one stage. If all stages can be broken, even accidentally, get rid of them. We did get rid of Hot Shelter. :(

There was a time when I would go removing false stats, even offering people to tell me their typo'd ones so I'd remove 'em. That was before Gerbil took over and used software that didn't allow access. To me anyways.

It's from the Sonic Unleashed website, UK version I think
Before as in years ago. But it's still clear in my head, just not from where it was.

Final Chase 5 should be easy. There's no reason for the record not to approximate that of M1.

With 48 Blu-ray movies and constant use of media networking to my television, I sure do regret my PS3 purchase.

Theoretically, I'm getting all versions eventually, because that's what I do, but who knows if I'll still be doing it in a far away future.

But the two versions I'll get soonest are PS3 and Wii. Heh, maybe even on the same day.

I'm surprised so many people complain about the sensitivity and responsiveness of the DC controller...  I'd rather have 32 control than 8...
Yeah, it is great, but not for TAing. I can't even run straight in SA.

The GC controller definitely has more than 8 directions. I used to have a PC controller with 8 and playing SADX was pretty awful. I have a newer controller with more than 8 now but it still doesn't feel as right as the GC controls.
