He thought he could put any time that comes to his head, thinking that nobody would ask how he did the times or find that he invented them. Wrong.
He didn't make that "unintentionally". He's a bullshitter and a careless person, and his actions prove it.

Thorn came up with a good point that I haven't thought. How can you not have sure about your time? The Time Attack saves your time in a top 3 when you finish a level.
