Wikkity! / Predictions for 2015!!!

I don't know if this has been done before, but I just thought of it and it sounded like fun. From now and up till 31st December 2009 you have to make predictions of either yourself or other TSCers. This can be about competing (such as somebody taking the championship of a game) or some sort of shenanigan (I haven't been here long enough to hear any of those >_>) On the 1st January I will print this topic off and put it somewhere in my room so that I don't forget about it. Then I will revive the topic in december 2010 to see who was right. Now remember it's just a bit fun so please don't spoil it and predict nasty things ok :(

I won't be around as much as I used too on TSC and MSN due to a serious problem at home, which I discussed with cruizer (and other people if they were reading) on IRC. Don't worry I'm NOT leaving TSC I will be coming back within a couple of weeks or less. Once the problem is sorted I shall return and will be around as much as I used too. Hopefully I'll be online this coming tuesday and thursday while my mum is at the hospital having tests.

I know you guys hate these kind of topics so please don't shoot me for making this post I have bigger things to worry about. If you were on IRC when I discussed it with cruizer then you will know what I'm talking about :(

While looking at the overall chart for Sonic 06 I noticed this

If this player has been banned how come their stats are still there when many players who have been banned their stats are gone straight away.

Competition Central / Help me please?

I have tried to RA White Acropolis as Shadow in Sonic 06 and can only find 254 rings. The max amount is 259. I have looked every nook and cranny, destroyed every box, rock and ice cave. I have destroyed all the robots including the ones that appear when you get caught by the searchlight. I have even checked in the air with Rouge and accessed Sonic's part of White Acropolis with Shadow and yet still can't find those last 5 rings. I reckon I'm looking for a 5 ring capsule somewhere.  I have Ring attacked this act so many times I have lost track. Can somebody please help me it is very annoying when you are close to gaining another record, but you can't get it :(

Gaming and Grazing / Question for xbox 360 users

Sorry about this but I don't know anybody else who uses a 360 so I thought I would ask here. I want to ask my Dad to get me a network wireless adapter for Christmas so that I can download the boss attacks and very hard missions for Sonic 06 and downloadable content for Sonic unleashed if there is any.

However, while looking at the marketplace for Xbox Live, I can't find it. I have looked everywhere. Does this mean it has gone for good or is it still there somewhere ?  Is their a time limit on the content at the marketplace? I'm new to this so I don't have a clue how the marketplace works. Somebody help me please? Sorry for being a noob :(

Competition Central / Proof that you should never give up!

Last night I thought I would try to TA Solaris in Sonic 06.

First full attempt - 3'16"xxx not good enough
Second full attempt - 3'04"xxx nearly beat DsS 0_0
Third full attempt - 2'57"xxx so close to beating PsyBorg :(

I thought right I'm not giving up, lets go again. The next full attempt took me an hour to get. I nearly gave up during my final attempt, my wrist was hurting so much from tapping the A button as fast as I could. But I noticed that the health bar had about 10% left and what the time was. I kept thinking to myself don't give up, keep going over and over again until the fight was over. Then I noticed my time was very Shocked 0_0

I know people aren't bothered by Sonic 06 anymore but I thought I should show some proof of my Solaris TA record just in case somebody flagged this up. I'm very annoyed I didn't record it. As for the Flame Core RA record, I did that to show Paraxade that yes I am serious, it worked and here is the proof :D

Look at Groudan199's time and score, it doesn't add up. As you can see I got 29"xxx and got 48,000. But Groudan199 was a second slower than me and somehow got 52,340. It should be the same score as Kirby-54. Anyone who has played this mission knows that if you are a second faster than your previous time you will be 2,000 points more than your previous score, just look at everybody's times and scores, you will see what I mean.

Am I right to call this in?

EDIT: Also why does his score end in 340 when everybdoy elses end in 000.

Competition Central / 50th Video Special

I have just now uploaded my 49th video on to Youtube and would like to do something special for my 50th. I kept racking my brains for something but I couldn't think of anything. So I was wondering if anybody out there would like to set a challenge for me.

The following games I have: -
1) Sonic the Hedgehog 1
2) Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (& Knuckles)
3) Sonic the hedgehog 3 (& Knuckles)
4) Sonic 3D Blast
5) SADX
6) SA2B
7) Sonic Heroes
8) Sonic 06

All you have to do is to make a challenge up thats interesting such as for example Sadistic Mystic's 0 score challenge in SA2.

The challenge that gets picked will be the one that is the most interesting one and will be picked by the end of Friday 10:30 p.m (thats english time to me).

So please guys help me out here I would be so grateful. Also I'm sorry if this topic is in the wrong section of the forum :/

EDIT: This Friday coming sorry forgot to put the actual date down but you guys probably already knew what Friday I was talking about :D

Competition Central / Can somebody help me please?

I'm having some trouble getting all 278 rings in Sonic 2 Metropolis Zone Act 1. My highest total so far is 253. I just can't see anything to help me get the last 25 rings. Normally I can work these things out but its got me stumped. Can anybody tell me how to get them please?

Also I'm new to TA so can anybody give me any tips please? I had a spare 5 mins today so I thought I 'll try TAing Emerald Hill 1 as Knux and got 0:24 secs on the third go so I'm ok but I would like to improve a bit.

Information Kiosk / Regarding S2 Metropolis 3 Knuckles' rings

As you know the max amount of rings for Knuckles in this act is 222, because Knuckles does not have the same jumping power as Sonic so the last ring is always out of reach. However, I have found a way to get that last ring.

That link will take you to a video of me obtaining all 223 rings. I have looked back at the video and checked the rules so I'm pretty sure that I haven't broken any. Debug mode wasn't used, no rings or monitors were respawned and I didn't enter a special stage or died after hitting one.

Sorry if I'm annoying anybody with this topic but I have a type of autism and sometimes I can get things wrong without realising it. So I would be very grateful if anybody out there would take the time to have a look at the video to check that I haven't broken any rules and that its legit. If it is legit then would that mean that the amount on the ring chart for Metropolis 3 Knuckles would change? Thats what I would like to know.
