I think it's possible...
But that means taking out my Sand Hill records.

It would be fun to ride down the boarding section of City Escape on a bike or something. White Acropolis or Radical Train from Sonic 06 would be cool too.

..ouch..

Well, If I say Tikal is the most amazing being in existence and she PWNS the universe will you help me?

Anyway, I have nothing against Tikal, it's just these strange obsessions with female sonic characters that get me.

I've been playing SA(DX) for a while now, and I've made it to the orange zone, so I've decided to work on other heavily-weighted games like SA2(B) and SHeroes. I don't really know much about the gameplay mechanics of theses games, so any help would be appreciated.
Some of my worst areas are:
SA2(B) scores: Do you want high rings and a bad time or a great time and low rings? And then there's enemies to figure in too...
SA2(B) glitches: Any I should know about? (remember: I have dial-up so videos are slow.)
SHeroes times: I'm not very fast, except in Grand Metropolis.

Please help, unless you want to tell me what Tikal thinks. (Magnezone/SkyLights)

Now that's just not nice. For that, I will look at all your game stats and spend the next few months beating all of them.

Actually, P.P.A, I use Firefox. I just couldn't get it to work.
And I didn't know I was supposed to keep from logging in too often. :[]

Quite frankly, Magnezone, I don't give a DAMN what Tikal thinks.

I think my point has been made well clear.
And sorry for the Shadow language.

What if everyone, just for giggles, logged in this Friday at like 6:00pm to set a new "most members online" record?
Time zones might give some trouble for knowing when to be on, though.

I don't just enjoy running when I'm playing Sonic games... so here are some estimates.
Green Hill: 30-45 seconds.
Emerald Coast: About 3:30:00-4:00:00 (the vertical slopes would slow me down a bit)
Final Rush: I'd be dead within a minute.
Seaside Hill: 6:00:00 (I'd have to swim to skip the final huge loop.)
Final Egg: I'd get somewhere around 4:00:00-5:00:00. But what about the light dash section at the end? I can picture it now...

*sonic99189 does repeated spins to imitate Sonic's spin dash*
*sonic99189 comes out of the spin and says "Ready..."*
*sonic99189 says "Go!" and thrusts forward, putting his hands behind him in the classic sonic running pose*
*a distant wail is heard as sonic99189 falls to his death*

Yeah.

And would you believe this is what I think of when I'm bored?

Competition Central / Lost World - Sonic strategies
« on: November 10, 2007, 06:38:41 pm »
I've been trying to improve my time on this level (which is my only time stat besides Amy's Final Egg that's not red or orange), but I just can't without learning some of the shortcuts. Here's basically what I want to know:
1. How do you skip the door opened by the three switches? I can't number the times I've tried and failed to do it.
2. Since I haven't seen a video (dial-up internet), I don't know the correct route for the dark part of Act 2 (with the mirrors).
3. Finally, with the last shortcut (altered gravity), what do you do after you've walked on the wall and restarted? I tried it, but I ended in an infinite blank landscape with the background from the bright part of Act 2.
Help would be much appreciated.

Green Hill has the best chance of actually being included, since it's the first ever stage, but I am very, very sick of it. I'd rather have something like Windy Valley.

I wish I could watch the videos but I have dial-up (56kbps) so it takes about ten minutes per megabyte.

Competition Central / Re: The possibly new SADX champion
« on: October 20, 2007, 07:53:14 pm »
I wish I could say myself, but no, not until at least 2011 even if I practice every single stage. Probably never. But maybe, cuz I still have a lot of room for improvement. (AHEM 3 rings in Knuckles' lost world)
If SuperSonic94 didn't use AR i'd say he could be champion soon. But I think S3K has the best chance right now.

Competition Central / Will anyone help me with SA(DX)?
« on: October 19, 2007, 09:39:01 pm »
As some of you know, I'm kind of new (joined about 6 months ago). I've been playing SA(DX) for a while, but I'm only at 41.7%. It's my goal to get 80% or more, so if anyone could look at my records and tell me how to improve them I'd be really happy. (I've submitted everything but most of the bosses.)
Especially the bad ones. And obviously some (like 3 rings in Knuckles' Lost World) were only submitted to raise my totals.

Competition Central / Re: Your best and worst records.
« on: October 19, 2007, 09:15:19 pm »
If we're talkin world records then I only have two...
Sand Hill- Sonic: 18000 points.
Sand Hill-Tails: 16470 points.
Both of these I am really proud of, but they both can probably go a little higher (by time score or combo.)
The absolute most for Sonic is x53 and Tails is x50 or x51. (I think I missed some on both)

General Sonic / Sonic 06 Demo- a strangeness I (maybe) discovered
« on: October 01, 2007, 08:28:15 pm »
I was playing the sonic 06 demo in a store, and tapping the x button to pass the time while it was loading. I tapped x just as it finished loading, and for some odd reason it caused the game to run in ultra-slo-motion. (nice frame rate though) So i played it, messed up a few times and got a 1'08" [insert-random-thousandths-of-seconds-here.] Has anyone else done this? I tried it a second time and it didn't work.
