Competition Central / OK... how the heck do you get 1:25:00 or less on Sand Oasis Mission 1? (SATSR)

OK, I went full blast with speed, and only did one or two things, such as hitting a spikes, and at the end I mucked up one jump... I'm at level 75 with every speed up item. Yet here I am seeing people getting 15 seconds less than me! I know I'm not THAT bad. Is there a shortcut or something that I'm missing? I'll say what I do in a step to step guide:

- Do a quick jump for start, gets my speed going.
- I keep straight as possible, until I get to the Pearls. I then try to get every one (and no, I don't jump for the circle ones, I let them go into me with H-Pearl, or whatever it's called).
- I speed burst as soon as I hit the Zip Pad
- I do a quick jump at the ledge, and just run along, dodging enemies.
- Again, I hit every pearl, and hit the zip pads.
- I get to the zip pad jump. As soon as I land, I do a quick speed burst. I turn it off when I get to the second zip pad jump
- I just keep running, and absorbing all the pearls. As soon as I land, I wait till I get past the zipped ball, then speed burst
- I do a quick hop through flames, so I don't take damage. I sometimes get enough pearls for a speed burst after this, but not always.
- I stick to the left, ignoring the pearls by the spikes.
- I get the pearls on the rails, but I DON'T go on the rail itself (slows me down, so there's no point).
- I walk by the spikes, and make sure I don't get hit. I once glitched past the 4 spikes, but I have't been able to redo it.
- I speed burst through this little section
- I make sure I make my jumps carefully through this section, not falling off
- I speed burst into the goal.

Hi. I'm guessing you've just not had the time to add it, but when do you expect for us to be able to upload our Sonic and the Secret Rings times? I got one or two nice scores. ;)

In Sonic Adventure DX , I noticed someone using Knuckles in a video and battled all the Chaos's. I thought he went through the entire story and cut the videos each time at first but then noticed it tallied it up at the end. I knew this didn't happen in story - so there must be a boss select! ... So, wondering, can you battle bosses outside story mode? If so, how?

Leaderboard Disputes / Cheater? (Sonic Chaos)

I noticed in Sonic Chaos, somebody called eredani has one second shorter than EVERYONE'S time (sometimes 2 or 3). Is there a technique I'm missing? Or is this a cheater? Or am I an idiot? I'm just checking. You can never be too careful...

Please note: This is NOT my best performance. I HAVE done better (look at the results at the start). However, this is almost perfect.

Now, I have no clue how someone cuts the time so much... 15 seconds? Wow. I think I found it (a secret route underground I've never seen). However, it just added 15 seconds or so when I tried.

Anyway, hope you enjoy! ^_^ I only have the best quality version right now.

Information Kiosk / Video Not Working

Also, on a side note, I have every codec (I think), yet some files called Video (or even AVI) says I don't have the requied Codec. Plus, some of the AVIs do work. So I'm guessing it has something to do with the server.

I can't find where the fastest times are for Dead Line. May I ask where they are? I'm kind of new so...

Sorry if it's any trouble. I'm just interested as my time seems to be red and is 2/11... whatever that means. :p

Hi. I'm DaDude. I've recently got into Sonic Games. I only own Sonic Rush right now, but hope to own SADX, SA2B, and Sonic Mega Collection at the start of Summer.

My favourite level is Dead Line in Sonic Rush, and my times are really fast. I hope to get a good score there. ^_^
