Actually the challenge is impossible because you cannot complete it without the last ring.The big one.

So why did you say you weren't using either method? if this was banned, your times would be banned too, right?

It was meaned that i was using third method (broken controler).not the two listed.

And yeah. It looks weird but im not against banning my Gens times.

uh, I don't understand what exactly you're trying to say here?

banning the generations glitch times will be ok for me but not the Unleashed ones.

Many of my Generations submissions (last three months)were using my broken controler and without touching the stick (for example i made Shadow hard WR on 3rd time) Blast effect and M-speed tricks in my Times and videos are pulled automatically without touching anything.

BTW hypersonic and danieldue made a great point. You cant determine time legitimacy until you see player hands in a video.

^I was referring to the Rings chart, of course. That mission is ignored because its title suggests Ring competition would be nonsense. But I've found that there are more than one ring in the level, so Ring competition could make sense after all. I'd say the Vs. Vector challenge is even less competitive, yet it has a Rings chart.

I just wanted to put a response to the Rings-related discussions of this topic.

Unfortunatly, that video has been taken down. I got to 19 minutes and it randomly froze on me, So I tried refreshing and I got the "Video has been taken down" message. I think SEGA are a little peed off or the video wasn't meant to be on there in the first place. So yeah, Links broken.

Superspeed glitch

Here are few takes of how fast can Hedgehog engine go.

Works in every 2D section especially in full 2D levels.

When hitting the boosting object (rail, dash panel etc...) HOLD UP + B. When reaching certain speed just jump and...... You need to hold UP on directional pad whole time while performing this. Holding the Down can be used for slowing down the effect and succesful landings .




Hope to see some nasty things with this.

you need to hold right-up direction and light dash at 4th ring. And dont turn off that screen message untill next checkpoint. From unknown reason the timer start counting again.

this happened to me few times. If you hit help ring and boost platform at same time it can result in stopping the timer.

Sorry the video is short because i noticed this after recording.

Also i found ring path glitch. Pressing Y before ring path can result in interesting high jumps or loop skip.
