« on: April 05, 2014, 10:35:29 am »To make an example, in unleashed on PS3 there are spots where you literally go faster than the level art can load. If you had a way to make it load faster then you'd get the advantage of being able to see the terrain as opposed to not.
That's not dependent on speed since it doesn't happen every time.

For team battles on PS2, you gain control later than in the other versions. Also, the time stop effect from Team Dark's TB doesn't last as long.

« on: February 01, 2014, 01:12:05 pm »As for newer hardware like the DS and Gamecube, there is really no excuse for resorting to emulation. Those consoles are readily available and there are loads of options for recording your runs.
I can only think of 2 for DS games, which doesn't sound like "loads of options" to me.

For me, it doesn't matter what features the PS4 has. Excluding Minecraft, there's only one game coming out in the next year I'd get, and it's not a launch title (same with XB1, except the game on that system is also getting a 360 release). The Wii U's "lack of games" is completely false for me. In its first year, there have been 6 retail games that I've been interested in (with 3 of them available at launch), which has never happened for any system before.
Don't some games use the gamepad as a "second screen experience" as well?
The PS4 wants you to use an I Pad as a second screen experience, an exhausting fad.

The ring counter doesn't stop at 999.
