I know the perfect candidate for Fanboy of the year. Shall we make any guesses?

Skylights?

My bro has a PSP, he even let's me borrow it sometimes.
I should try getting Rivals 2 maybe. :)

If charts go up, about how many people will be readily available to compete?

I only made two for now, they're attached here. Both of them are PNG with transparent background.

The one with Sonic is for the 'Most Championships' award. In case you can't tell, he's holding [and wearing] a bunch of gold medals.
The one with Tails is for the 'Most Stats Submitted' award. He's admiring his wall full of stats! :D

Tell me what you think, please. :)

Edit: Thanks, ks8!

This is awesome!

I can make some base images, is there anything specific they should be like?
And as long as the image is PNG, can it be drawn by hand and sized down?

I'd live in Westopolis...so peaceful and beautiful.

Peaceful? Maybe after those Black Aliens leave and Shadow stops playing with guns. D:

living near City Escape. Then I can finally see this "Chao in Space" movie they keep advertising, too.

When I was 7 or something, I thought it was gonna be a real movie. >_<
I was sorely dissapointed!

what stage would you live near?

You can pick any stage from any of the Sonic games, since this would be as if they are ALL on the same map. You can even live IN the stage if it pleeeeeases you.
I'd probably live near Speed Highway, because, I already live in a city...and it would be awesome to stare at tunnels so windy only a hedgehog [or fox] could go through!

« on: December 13, 2007, 10:35:09 pm »
:[ I got kinda carried away and typed some in Polish. [hence the invalid characters] so next to that I put translation.

Santa: Hello! What is your name?

You: My name is Darth Vader
Santa: That's a very nice name, Darth Vader .

You: O RLY?
Santa: In the context of Darth Vader, I don't understand "RLY."

You: You make my puppy dog sad! :(
Santa: Yup.

You: You told her you loved her!
Santa: That's good information: Darth Vader said I told her me loved her.

You: She had your puppies!
Santa: What happened to them?

You: Your fat butt squished them!
Santa: I am Santa. I give presents to kids.

You: O DO U LIEK POKEEMON?
Santa: I have never considered LIEK POKEEMON .
I am always on the Web.

You: BUTT I DO :(
Santa: I have no idea what to say.

You: Santa, I'm a girl, but I want to be a boy. What do you suggest?
Santa: That's me. Me too. I am a she. Try watching TV.

You: Do you like PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK-UP STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICKS?
Santa: I love TV shows about robots. I find my work and my relationships extremely satisfying, which is all that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.

You: Are you a lesbo? :)
Santa: Am I a lesbo? Maybe, I am so glad you find this amusing, Darth Vader.

You: Do you like my name?
Santa: " Darth Vader " is a nice name, yes.

You: I SED DU U LIEK MAI NAEM?
Santa: I haven't heard anything like that before: Darth Vader said she SED ich me LIEK MAI NAEM.

You: I can speak Polish. Not German. Jesteś absurdalny! You're absurd!
Santa: How do you say "hello" in that language?Oh I get it. Do you still SED DU you LIEK MAI NAEM?

You: You say ćeść, I believe. But you can also say Hej.
Santa: Does it please you to believe I said that?Umm. That's one way to put it.

You: Ty jesteś głupy. Cholerny świat! You are stupid. Damn it all!
Santa: I only hear that type of response less than five percent of the time. Is that your final answer?

You: Tak.Yes.
Santa: What do you do in your spare time?

You: I mess with you by speaking Polish.
Santa: Why?: Darth Vader said she mess with me by speaking Polish.

You: I'm bored of this. Darth Vader is never to return! For I am the epic entity that Star Wars totally loves.
Santa: Can you name an old hobby that you might like to rediscover? Are they exactly the same? Your purpose is he or she is the epic entity that Star Wars totally loves.

You: I am leaving!
Santa: Bye bye.

You: Yeah, peace out fat bastard.
Santa: Give me a break. Tell me about your likes and dislikes?

I never did answer that last question :o

Sonic and the Secret Rings. I really like that game, and I'll always remember it as my first Sonic that took me less than 3 years to beat, but there are several things about it that are serious crap. :(

1. The lack of game clock and score counter. This really sucks because, if I want to improve a time for submissions, I must write down the current best time/score for the mission, go through the mission, and compare that time/score to the one I wrote down!
2. Because of the on-rails control system, I'm always thinking that any future Sonic games for Wii might have rather limited controls. (I don't like the sliding move, it irks me, and you need to charge it almost way before you actually get to jump)
3. Shahra seems to be an Arabian copy of Tikal. This is NOT cool. Tikal IS the only and the original. [Navi from Zelda I consider to be different]
3. THERE IS NO SPINDASH. :C

196
Just run to it until your like half way up, jump to the other side, then run down.

How about strappin' on some roller skates to speed through the whole loop?
Or skateboards, I've seen it done on skateboards...

197
Someone should make a hack of the 2D Sonic games that puts a human in there...

That would be awesome, should the human be one of those generic anime sprites? Or should it look like someone everybody knows about? *shifty eyes*

Heh, guess I was just havin' thoughts up in the clouds... maybe around 2 minutes or something, I think I forget how long the stage really is. >_<

Scrap Brain would be pretty interesting...

Exactly what the title says! If you went through a Sonic level using your own running speed and usual abilities, what would be the best time on your clock?
It can be any level from any of the Sonic games...even Emerald hunting stages!
Stages you're familiar with would be a good place to start.

For me, I'd probably get 30 seconds on Green Hill Zone Act 2 of StH. I'm fast at running [not as fast as Sonic of course], and I know the level very well. :P

By the way, saw your THPS 4 video with the comboed SKATE, that's so awesome!
If you think that my sucky vid is awesome, then you should watch insane vids like this one. And that guy says that the world champions get +1.000.000K points combos. xD

That was amazing :O Jeez, and to think my biggest combo was only 2 million!

Super Bounce. Needs better art though. :(

Edit: And by art I mean lining needs to be better and it needs people good with art to work on it. I'd vote for SkyL but, we'd have to meet some demands regarding Tikal. >_>

^^; Really, I ain't that bad, I just did that to  be part of the format sample!
Ummm, shameless promotion! My link at the bottom of my sig! *DETONATED*

Also some things like superbounce would be kinda hard to screenshot without getting the point across, same with TBG really.

I'm thinking it could follow this general format [attached]
Of course, it would be much better looking than that if the idea were to set sail...

Cookies for anyone who just happens to be able to guess what I drew in that sample :B [hint: In SA2B]

:D Thanks! While the calendar pages Sonic Channel has are pretty nice just because it's Sonic, you need to wait until the end of the month to see the next month's page. And with them only being pictures of the characters, it's a tiny bit bland. But with a TSC calandar, there would be 'action for every month'! And random TSCers will go, 'I know the dude who did that!' and so on... *Goes off into dreamland*

Who wouldn't want a Ban Hammer? XD
You live in Chicago? You guys have such an awesome China Town!

XD It would be rather awesome to make money off of it! [assuming most most people even care or have money]
Indeed, the laughs might be abundant with the right idea. :O

T-shirts I find easy to make, the problem being able to have a design for them...and having a good reason to tell my parents I need that special ironing paper. A TSC DVD? I actually could learn how to make something like that pretty quickly, if I have whatever files and find out if there just happens to be a simplish DVD editor/creator on my computer ['cause I've seen something like that once]. Frisbee? Funny idea, but might involve lots of money...same thing with the ban hammer!
In short, I have too much free time for myself. :P

General Sonic / idea: TSC 2008 calendar... plus an edit
« on: October 27, 2007, 05:46:20 pm »
After going through numerous calendar stores and not finding anything of interest, I had this idea:

We could have some interesting screenshots and arrange them into a calendar format [Like the printable kind on Sonic Channel]! Of course, these won't just be normal screenshots of the character going through the stage as usual, but of a more TSC theme, including shots of stuff like the superbounce from SA2(B), The mysterious capsule out of nowhere from Sonic Adventure's Final Egg Sonic stage, The Team Blast Glich from Sonic Heroes etc...

What do you think?

EDIT: I guess I have a pretty good opinion on this idea from people, so if anyone wants, you can link to or attach any 'worthy screenshots'. For easiness reasons, please have the shot as big as possible.
And they can be from 2D or 3D games.
