Today I have launched SonicCenterDotOrg, TSC's official YouTube channel. I will be uploading there most decent videos hosted by TSC that aren't on YouTube.

This should help to increase TSC's popularity and it will serve as a repository, preventing the loss of this awesome stuff if our database gets deleted.

If you have videos on TSC and don't want them on YouTube, contact an administrator.

...seriously though, try to put more into it, like Player Name, Level/Game, time, so that it'll be pulled up from the search much better. Perhaps even link to the chart in question, and stuff like that.

Aitamen how is this different from other people uploading speedruns?

I was referring to the posting of speedruns that one hadn't made and hadn't received explicit permission of the runner who did.  I don't believe I saw anything when I was posting my vids here that TSC has any rights to my vids, but I could easily have overlooked it for lack of caring.

Now, I don't think anyone has a right to care, or a right to worry, but the last thing I want is that someone sues TSC for use of their run in some way they didn't agree with (even if it's not and they're just money hungry... remember, I live in the US, it's not so much paranoia as hope in the view).

This was more the idea.  Just making sure that we're doing things the right way.  YouTube is Google after all...

If anyone sues TSC for posting speedruns on YouTube, I will provide legal counsel pro bono. (PS nobody is going to sue TSC.)

Suggestion: Have the TSC account favorite vids already on YouTube, that way they could still theoretically be all in one place.

Also: my two vids don't need to be reuploaded, as they're already on mine.

Rolk: Yeah, I wish I could be as convinced... At worst, unless I'm mistaken, the vid's would be removed, but that does little to make me less wary of it...  paranoia at getting sued, heh.
