I know that advance 3 is in the making, just ignore that..... but wouldn't it be cool if sonic was a high speed shooter? It would be like metroid Prime and sonic, all rolled into one. His spin dash would be like morphball, And he would somehow like, get a super gun to foil eggman's plans.... Or a game like sands of time where you used chaos control and stuff.......
Edit: Oops, I meant jet force gemini for the sonic shooter...

It'd depend on how well they pull it off. The Adventure idea of multiple characters was kinda cool until they made characters (like Big) that didn't work. I'd take either Heroes or Adventure style so long as it was done well.

I don't think a shooter Sonic would work very well unless it was some spinoff thing along the lines of Starcraft Ghost.

well, maybe something like Jet Force gemini ... You remember, how you were lupus the dog, what's his face, or what's her face? The game was an action adventure/ shooting game, and it worked out well. You had to use a lot of different weapons to even make it past the first level. It had a lot of fun levels. However, since sonic and friends can't hover, you might have to be a metal sonic gone good rescuing sonic. It would be fun, but not the most rational game...

Heh, IIRC, the next Sonic game after this topic was Shadow. Nice. Though people don't seem to consider it quite so bad anymore after Silver....
