If you start boosting in a no-fly zone and hold the boost over into a fly zone, the boost will remain as normal.

Challenge #3: City Escape Modern - Adventure Score Attack

- Complete City Escape Modern with as high a score as possible according to the following scoring system and restrictions:

- You may not equip any skills for this Challenge.

- Enemies are worth 100 Points each.
- Combo's of Enemies score like they do for combos of up to 9 in SA2 ((# of enemies - 1) * 100), and a combo only ends when Sonic touches the ground.
- IE, killing three enemies and then landing awards 200 Points.
- Trick Ramps Trick/Orange Rings are worth 400 Points each.
- Ring Bonus is equal to 20x the number of Rings when the level is complete.
- Time Bonus begins at 10000, and degrades by 100 Points every 6 seconds after 1:00:00
- IE, finishing in 1:59:99 would give a Time Bonus of 9000 Points. Finishing in 2:02:xx would give a Time Bonus of 8900. Finishing in 2:49:xx would give a Time Bonus of 8200,m etc.

PS no point scalping from ramps and boost rings, they only count once each.

I appreciate this is a little more complex than the previous two, so I recorded an example vid, then annotated it for all of the point scoring things I did in the level. I then did not save the annotations because I'm an idiot, so I am going to redo them tomorrow and then post the vid.

Errm, this one sounds like it basically necessitates recording a video. Otherwise I can't see how anyone could possibly keep track of all those things without making any mistakes.

edit: also it sounds like you could just scalp off orange rings/trick ramps

I should addend that you can't scalp.

It probably sounds much more complicated than it really is, the enemies are in small groups and after a couple of runs you remember where things are/the amount of them

It's not as bad as it sounds, honest :P

Ugh this is crap I can't always keep track of everything I've done, I forget by the time I'm recording another combo.

Optimal combo at the beginning after the board is 6 robots and 6 hoops, after that is a group of 3 enemies, then by the stairs is a total of 5. After that in the 2D part the top route has two enemies in a line. Then just the 5 at the end.

Easy mode is just kill everything then double check the amounts afterwards

27000+ is easily doable. In the beginning on the board you can hit 3 enemies and still enter the red ring. Its diffcult to even hit it :P. I don't know if my route is perfect but its good at least. and after the trick ramp without the board you can still boost back and kill the enemies left before those 2 red bumpers.

so all in all my guess with a perfect run is now 28k somethin'

Yeah, 21K isn't hard, the requirements are fairly loose because you actually have to a little bit of working out.

Also I'm too lazy to annotate my example vid, it was only 18K, just watch Millernus' and do what he does >_>
