Yes, I have decided to do something that has probably(?) never been done before; every single speed record! MY favorite stages! I feel I am capable of such a task, but it will take a lot of time. It will definitely be the hardest goal I have ever set, in anything. Especially if Jawzun and other good players start playing.

This topic will be for reporting my progress, posting what levels I am going for next and asking for support plus and strategy help on some stages. I doubt I can do this alone.

Recent New Records:

Final Rush, Misssion 2 :10-20-08 (#23)
Crazy Gadget, Mission 3 10-21-08 (#24)

I will rank the records I do not have based on how difficult I feel it will be for me to achieve them. This list may be updated or changed as/if other players get better records.

Easy: These should take no more than an hour or two once I seriously try

Crazy Gadget, Mission 5
Green Forest, Mission 5
White Jungle, Mission 1
White Jungle, Mission 5
Sky Rail, Mission 5
Final Rush, Mission 1

Sonic: 19 out of 25 Records: 75%

Woa! This will be great! If I can do anything to help you, just tell me. I'll be getting my SA2B soon, then I'll be back to competition, taping everything. Maybe I'll tape some SADX videos too then I'll put them here. Ha! My time is classified as one of the "hard to get" ones.

Final Chase 5 should be easy. There's no reason for the record not to approximate that of M1.

I would probably rank mission 1 as medium as well if I did not have it, cause 2:33 is not really easy for me. Even though the record could probably fall to 2:27 or 2:28 I was lucky to even beat you, because I am terrible at timing doing the spinning tubes just right. It turns out doing the tubes w/o stopping is skill rather than luck, you kinda have to time the homing attack and hit the right spot, and maintain a certain speed at each different spot whilst holding in the right direction.. but I can never consistently do that, not sure if anyone can. M1/3/5 would be much easier if the tubes were not so weird, but I can see myself spending many hours restarting trying to do mission 5 because of them. I put mission 3 as hard cause the ending is crazy, I would never be able to skillfully evade everything at max speed which is what you probably did.

do you not like ties? :( I think they are very cool. thanks, if you decide take (our) FR, I will pretend FR is CE and play for 470 more hours to make 500, and take the trophy for good!

you know as well as I do your M1 was excellent for DC, and without using checkpoints! It definitely deserves its rating. thanks for your support, you seem to be so great at finding shortcuts and tricks I know you will be very helpful! and harmful, cause I know you will probably take a lot of records. heh :P

New Record: Crazy Gadget, Mission 3! I also improved FR2 by a lot and crazy gadget 5 for by a little bit. I am not satisfied with either crazy gadget time though, I would like at least 1:42/1:56.

those are 3 excellent times for just 40 minutes of playing though, maybe I will not have to play 3 to 4 hours a day like I had thought.

That makes 24/41!

I remember we tied on Emerald Coast back in early 2007 :)

About getting every speed record (the best ones of course;) ), I'll be trying to get some of them too (not all of them, Final Chase is just impossible for me).
So I'll give you some fun competition ;P

yeah, I finally tied you with 1:06.71, then you had to go and get 1:06.70 the next day to ruin it. Bring it on! I think I will go for 25 sonic records first cause it would be a cool sub-goal accomplishment plus I am very close, and then try for shadow's..I need 12 of them!

woah, I am surprised to see you post. thanks for the support, I would like to record every record I get, but when I record the picture quality is much worse, so it makes it harder to play well. :( I will probably record some, regardless.
