Chao Races?
« on: August 16, 2008, 01:02:45 pm »
I've been thinking, and both SA(DX) and SA2(B) have Chao Races. Maybe we can add them to the list? (Courses going "Garnet 2", "Crab Pool 3", etc.)

I think it would be a good idea. I've always been hoping for chao races in TSC and I think it would nice to compete with your own chaos :D

Chao races would lead to the following (on GameCube):

Make an All-A Chao.

Raise one stat by one level, if it doesn't get the max point boost, quit without saving and retry.

Do the same until every stat is at maximum.

Complete a race and submit the same time as the other people with no life.

No. Chao racing don't require any amount of skill.
Then again, raising an excellent Chao to participate does. However that'd take far too long.

Also what, all-A Chao? More like all-S Chao.

It takes more time than skill. It's basically just grinding, so chao racing charts would be like competing in a Final Fantasy game. >_>

Actually breeding an all-S Chao does require some planning (and luck).

And planning and luck aren't skill.  But more importantly, it takes too long and isn't fit for competing.

Clearly he is interested in there being another dead game nobody plays on the charts. You know, like Sonic R*.

* This game might not be so dead if you weren't so idealistic >_> (not that I'm saying this is a bad thing in general... just in this instance it is.)

I don't think anyone with the power to change the R charts cares at this point, but yes, I would agree it's a problem.

Go away pinball party
