I've actually been here a little while (Feb '07), just haven't been active because I have always had to borrow Sonic Games (until now, where I own Sonic Heroes).

I learnt TBG and RA'd Grand Metropolis on Chaotix.
I reached 999 and found out that I missed 2 enemies.
I use flower to return to start.

Welcome to TSC!
If you submit a stat, it must obey the rules and be displayed on the "stage complete" menu/stage select menu.
In other words, you must have completed the level with 999 rings otherwise you can't have the stat.
EDIT: I know RPG just said that.

Well then my 999 has to be removed by a moderator.
I've heard about some bugs where if you lower your stat you keep the same rank, so it will probrably have to be removed by a moderator (>_> at moderator who has delayed ending for 32 days)

I believe that if you submit a stat like 2, it will replace your 999, even though it's lower.

How do you get past the goal on Mystic Mansion and Lost Jungle on Team Rose?

I dunno about Lost Jungle, but in Mystic Mansion, it involves the switches. One of them will have rails at the top. You know how the other teams can use those rails to reach a higher area? Team rose doesn't have the pulley, but if you jump at the top of the curved rail, you can barely get up there (Though you'll have to thundershoot at the top to get rid of someone to get on.) HOWEVER, if you hit a switch past the goal, you won't be able to go back.

For Lost Jungle, you don't go past the goal, but instead you go behind the start of the level. Grind on the rail you start on going near the beginning of it. Jump at the right time to go high enough to approach the loop nearby. Jump towards it and fly to it. You'll have to do the same to get back, due to an invisible wall.

And although you can't go back if you hit a switch past Mystic Mansion's goal, it could be possible to get to the goal past the default one. I've gotten close once, but was a few yards away when near the 3 alters room.

1. I thought I already explained that you don't have to do that to get back.
Or maybe I just said I thought it could be done. Or you weren't there. Anyway,
when you hit the invisible wall, just use the flying formation to fly over it.
You can stand on top. From there, it's an easy jump to solid ground.

2. I couldn't even come close (the end of MM). It just looks impossible to me. :(
How come I'm so bad at this jump, but I was the first to do the Lost Jungle glitch? Oh, well.

I tried that jump at the end of Mystic Mansion but it seemed impossible. Even when I jump to far and ended up too low, I didn't make it to the side of the platform. If I kept myself high enough, I wouldn't even come close to the platform. And, I do use Team Blast, by the way.
