There's my set team, Formarfan is not allowed to change the three he has selected (Typhlosion, Shiny Gyarados and Scizor), I guess its just a little unfortnate that he probably doesn't know that Shiny Pokemon end up with lower stats than non-Shiny's...

zealous, you can't make an analysis just from movesets and stats. It's all strategy and well-timed switching in Pokemon battles, so it comes down to who's the better strategist. With the way formarfan acts around here I think it's safe to say that RPGnutter takes it out then.

Also it wouldn't be too hard to simulate a match, provided you knew the damage formula. I used to know it, but over the years I've forgotten. Isn't there also a differential of 10-20%, or would you just take the average damage?

Damage ranges from 85% to 100% in the final step, based on the roll of a 39-sided die. This can easily be accounted for.

Actually, I find that there isn't much difference between Pokemon difficulty after Level 45... I used my well-balanced level 55 team to kick the ass of 25 trainers in a row in the level 100 challenge...
