He added me on MSN asking for help with Leaf Storm 1, so I basically told him the whole strat in detail...

~2 weeks later he says something like 'hi, I think I beat your time'...

So I play it again and beat him back. Then just 2 hours after seeing I beat him back, he beats me again by "03, and somehow improves his  best time to the 2nd checkpoint by "30!

I still do the beginning bit the same as in my 40"43 video, I'm fairly sure it is faster. Other than that, its exactly the same as what you do in your video.

Pause the game, then move the stylus to the right position and unpause again. A stupidly easy way to get a perfect ring score on every special stage.

Just started playing Leaf Storm 2. I found a slightly better strat for Sonic at the start, I'm not sure if you know about it or not, it wasn't in your Sonic video.

Basically just gets you a full boost gauge earlier on.

Good job, man! That must be pretty much a perfect run! :O

Recording more vids at the moment. I've got WP1 Blaze done (best vid I've done so far in terms of quality and execution of the strat). Gonna do LS2 in a few moments. X)

Thanks :) . I wonder if this is the fastest strat though, or if something even faster will be discovered again. :p

Thanks for showing some proof. Is your time anywhere near maxed out? It doesn't look like it to me, because you went straight from 40"00 to 39"54. :o >_>

Only "06 separates my top 5, I think I could only cut about another "10 with my current strat. :/
