If you've played any fun games on the internet lately, post them here. If you're like me, you have a lot of free time, and have nothing to do, and you browse the internet looking for fun games. I have a few.

I was on IRC,and I was talking to people on chat rooms, and somehow it got to the subject of mario, and people started arguing about which was better. It was actually pretty close. Now, I adk you: Who do you like better? Mario? or Sonic? And not just the mascot. The games. and if you really feel like it, albinoblacksheep.com did a spin on that idea when Sega and Nintendo were serious competitors. if you want to see it, click here. warning:there is swearing and mild violence. 1)For freestyle in this game,can I play the 2 player levels to get times that are better,since the levels are shorter there, and for freestyle there are no listed rules?
2)Would it be possible to add times for certain 2p games you can't play in 1P? I mean,like Deck race, that other shoot-out level I forget the name, Grind Race,That boarding level for sonic,aand Planet quest? The levels are different than from 1P,so it could work.

I ordered a copy from my local FYE.When it comes in, which story should I start with? I mean, plotwise. SO I get a good understanding of the plot. I want to get the best understanding of it I possibly can. I don't care about difficulty, just the best story to start with plotwise.

Beef / Shouldn't gamma's times be the time you have left?

Instead of having the record for getting through the level as fast as you can as gamma, why don't we do the time remaining on the clock when you beat the level? Because that character does have a countdown level, it would only make sense that the times should be the time remaining. It would be varied, too, because you'd have to speed through the level, but also shoot a lot of enemies.

Beef / No true area 53 or XX times?

I think they should be on there. XX times aren't just boss times divided by 2 because of the limited hits they require. You also have to fight eggman's giant replica of himself, or whatever that is. And true area 53 is just a boss, but you should be able to submit times for it.......

select gamecube. do to sab2. click players. some players will be regular and have their name and percentage next to it. but others have their name listed twice. here are a few examples:

Yeah, I want to know which character you used to get your time on expert kart race. My second place time is still way far behind you, I hope to catch up if you  used a character other than sonic, which is who I used for my best time.

I'm not sure if it's just my computer, but when I submitted a few times today, the page after you submit didn't load. Times can be submitted, but u have to close the window and revisit the page.

The races in sab2 should have sections for each character and their high version. I think it would be fair, as different carts have different statistics. Then, we could have overall timefor all tracks combined, and another for overall character time. I would start submitting records right away, my second place expert kart race time was sonic, unless cybrax used him, though I doubt it because I'm still really behind. Plus, on expert mode, I also have what I consider a good time for the eggman robot (I got 3:15:57).... anyway, I think it's a good idea. What do u guys think?

today, I got :07:27 on egg  hamer tank II as sonic.I'm close to a breakthrough!  I hope to get that record, If I do it will be the first site record for me.   I would submit more times, but I can't work the program for my digital camera properly.
Edit: ok, my second record, I have the best overall time of tail's boss levels.
Edit: Completely disregard my previous statements, I know have this record with 100% in this game.

General Sonic / A good remix of the game gear sonic

here is the remix. It sounds pretty good, I'm not sure what instruments it has, but it sounds a lot like green hill gg zones 1 and 2, or genesis gh zones 1 and 2....actually a little of both. decide for yourself.  Oh, and happy 17 birthday popo nana.
edit:oops, I should have posted this in legacy.....oh well, it's probably going to get moved.

Chao aren't particularly popular, but I think u should have records for the courses, for your overall karate record, and maybe your fastest karate ko. I don't like chao that much, but still, I think I'd post some good records...

How can you defeat that boss so quickly? The boss takes 8 hits. You start off running, he doesn't appear until roughly 3 seconds. You can't immediatly attack the boss, that's 1 second. That leaves you with 1 1/2 seconds left to hit him 8 times. That seems fishy to me.... but if it can be done, I will gladly try all explanations.

I'm not sure how you can get that time, unless there is an ultimate secret thingy that gives you 45-50 seconds. I don't mean to insult you cybrax, and I'm not quiestioning your ability or the legitemancy of the submission, but how can you get that time?

General Sonic / What system do you normally play sonic games on?

Which system do you play sonic games on most of the time? I play the gamecube about 80% of the time because it ports the classics with dx and mega collection. Occasionally I play gba to unlock stuff in advance 2, but I normally just play gamecube.

In the future, what should be added to sonic games to make them be a lot better? I think that they should make the camera a lot better, and unless they did this with heroes, add even more of a speed element. It would also be kind of cool if you were able to play as super sonic in regular sonic's levels. It would be awesome if you would be able to do that.

General Sonic / How many sonic games do you own?

There are exactly 35 sonic games that have been released. Yes, that is true, I did some research, don't say you have more, or that my facts are off. Ports are counted as a seperate game, but if you just own the port, don't count the games it includes. Another thing you should take into account is that the dreamcast adventure games are counted seperatly from the gamecube adventure games. Also, don't count multiple copies of the same game. Currently, I have 23 games. I have all the games except sonic cd, chaotix, heroes, and the advance games (with the exception of Sonic advance 2)

Competition Central / I just beat the final special stage!!

I can't believe I finally did it   :D  that last special stage was 100% evil, and after 10 tries, I finally beat it as sonic! Ying! Now I can get the last 5 dx emblems by transferring chao from sab2! Anyone who needs help with the special stages, post here, I've gotten more than 400 rings in each, including the last one.

General Sonic / Handheld sonic games?

ok, this was really weird. I was at my local mall looking for a present for my father's birthday, when I walked into staples. And when I was looking for a cell phone, do you know what I saw? A handheld game. But not just any handheld game. On the front, it said: 3-in-1 game genesis classics. For games, it had Sonic the hedgehog 1, Sonic the hedgehog 2, and Dr. Robotnick's mean-bean machine. Now, people may have known about the handheld game system, but I didn't. The price tag wasn't on the game, and I didn't bother checking with the register, so don't ask me the price.
Edit: Ok, upon further investigation, I found out it was not a handheld game, but instead a game card for a cell phone, hence the reason it was found in the cell phone aisle. In case your wondering how I made that mistake, I didn't actually see the game, but I assumed that was what it was.

I don't know what the piece is actually called, but it connects your game boy advance to your gamecube. You can unlock extra features in the game by using this piece, and in the case of sonic, transfer chao to different files. Anyway, I went to kb toys to buy one, but it costs $49.99. Is this corporate America trying to rip us off, or is this a fair price for the item?

Do I have to beat the game with 7 emeralds in this exact order to get true area 53: Sonic,Cream,Tails,knuckles. I haven't beaten the game yet, I'm holding off have hopes for unlocking true area 53. And If I beat the game as sonic with other characters having chaos emeralds, can I still unlock true area 53? Oh, also, if you beat the game in a different order, are u still eligible for true area 53? Just curious. If you can help, I will be grateful.

The topic says it all. Do you use faqs for help? I only use the guides on gamefaqs so I can get new strategies after I beat a level so I can get better times, and I used one so I could get the chaos emeralds in sonic advance 2. I mean, who could get the special rings all by themselves with no help whatsoever? Well, other than the remote few who write the faqs. I give an imaginary cookie to anyone who gets all the chaos emeralds in that game without help.

Competition Central / Yes! I finally got my second chaos emerald!

Man, it took  me long enough. At 10:09 this morning, I beat leaf forest act 1 with all 7 special rings, and I beat the bonus stage! Yes! You'll most likely say it's easy, but it took me so long and I'm really glad I did it. The only other emerald I have is in sky canyon, so I have a long way to go.
