Yeah I think it was Sadistic Mystic who alerted me of this place on the GameFAQs board for sonic 2 I think it was.

A week, I don't take showers if I don't have any social things that require me to leave my house.

If I'm familiar with the game/program, I should be able to help.
Are you familiar with the Half-life engine and how entities on the maps work?  Specifically Team Fortress maps.

That seemed like more of a waste of time than an "owning" to me.  I kept expecting there to be a punchline or something where you made him completely realize how much of a dolt he was.

Anyway, the part I found interesting was when you said "Every time I have come across a software flaw, I have made it a point to investigate until I could find out where it comes from".  I've been trying to figure something out that's been plaguing me since September... maybe you could help me out with it SM?  Probably not.

Arrow keys?  The only reason I ever started playing sonic on my computer was because I got a hold of a game pad.  And truthfully, the d-pad on it kind of stinks compared to a first party genesis controller.  I could never use keyboard keys to play a platformer like sonic, they're just too akward for me.

I suppose using a genesis with a TV is a good way to keep yourself from temptation.  I, for one, trust myself.

I'm positive that people who have enough integrity to post honest times using the honor system also have enough sense to realize that using save states isn't honest.  Nobody wants to be a hypocrite.

But you're right, we can never know if any of these times posted by emulator users are honest.

I use an emulator, and I have a 100% working original genesis. Unfortunately I lost all the games for it except Shadowrun (great game).  Is there anything cheap/bad about using an emulator if you're not using save states?  I don't want to be cheap.  Not that it matters since I don't post top times.

General Sonic / What was the first sonic game you owned?

Sonic 1 and 2 came with my genesis when I bought it in I think '92.  I remember the commercial they had telling you all the things you could do with 2 sonic cartridges.  Kinda funny.

Actually now that I think about it you had to mail in for sonic 2 and the genesis only came with sonic 1.  Or was it the other way around?  Anyone remember?
