News and Updates / Sonic RPG On Its Way To DS!!

Sonic is heading to DS in RPG form. Not to be released till 2008 and no title yet but its being made by Bioware who have created many top RPG's. Overall this could be quite interesting if done right.

The world has gone MAD. For those who don't know, to put into context what this really means, here's some other stuff Bioware's made: Baldur's Gate. Knights of the Old Republic. Neverwinter Nights. Generally Awesome at Life.
If we're lucky, this'll be the best Sonic game in years and Bioware will somehow convert a speedy miscolored rodent into a compelling RPG experience. (Hey, it worked for Star Wars...) If we're not, SEGA'll cheese it up with a cringeworthy storyline and push Bioware to finish it in 6 months and then only 10-yr-olds and obsessive Sonic fans will slog through it. Who can tell!?
edit: Also it's worth noting that, being from Canada, the kind of RPGs that Bioware makes have historically not been of the Japanese pick-an-option-from-a-menu variety; they're Western actiony and Dungeons and Dragons fare.

Competition Central / Is this real or fake?

I while back i posted a screenshot from a rom i had when i got 17 seconds on emerald hill act 1 on sonic 2 and then i got banned lol. But anyway i was looking around on the net and found this video someone has recorded using gens movie 9f and they got 17 seconds. However it looked a bit fake since the view was a bit jumpy at times. Anyway look for yourselfs and make a judgement. Here is the emulator and i will add the movie as an attachment.

to play it i think you go options then play movie. Then select it and just go on play movie again.

Hiya Folks / Hey all

Hey everyone
Im jackaroo. Im a huge sonic fan and have been since i was a kid. Im glad to join here and im going to beat as many times or scores or anything as good as possible. My favourite sonic game is sonic 2 and i come from england but moved to spain about 2 years ago (dont say anything to me in spanish. I dont know anything). Im looking forward to getting to know some people around here. Anyway im off. Anyway im going to try and get some good scores.
