Competition Central / Starting a level with a shield in S3&K

This should either be completely banned or put into freestyle since you are using a shield from another level to help you complete a new level which makes it so people who select the level using the level select code be at a dissadvantage. Doing this takes the strategy of finding a path that also gets a particular sheild and it also gives an advantage to people who use roms since they can just make a savestate with them having a certain shield at the beginning of the level (even though savestates are banned at soniccenter they still seem to allowed if you only make one before the level starts since I have seen this on a few videos).

The reason I think they aren't being accepted is because many people have not unlocked the mode yet (including Rolken) and it is more difficult to access the levels (its like trying to time attack the genesis games without stage select).

Competition Central / Idea for a division in sonic advance 3

Since teams who fly or can tag action high jump can use more shortcuts than teams that can't these 2 groups should be seperated. This would make the 3 divisions for sonic advance 3 which would be sonic and tails, flying and tag action high jump teams, and everyone else. The flying and tag action high jump division would include tails and kunckles as both leaders and partners (maybe only leader for knuckles), cream as a leader, and amy as a partner.

Leaderboard Disputes / The sunset hill 1 video is from the beta version

On the hill that is after the last checkpoint but before the water there should be a spring at the end of it but it isn't present in the video. This means that Turbos must have used the beta rom when he was making this video. This means that his sunset hill 1 time should be removed and maybe others as well if he used the rom for any other records. His video should still be kept up because other than that one spring I didn't notice any other difference between the beta and final versions so the video may be able to help some people.

Beef / I can't get the TSC chat to work anymore

For some reason the TSC chat stopped working for me so I downloaded mirc to try to find it there. To join the TSC chat from there I typed "/join #soniccenter" but I still couldn't join (it just popped up as a blank channel with no one but me there) even though I was able to join other channels fine.

Leaderboard Disputes / How is that time for Ocean Base 3 possible

I have played that level for countless hours and I don't see how a score that far below 48 seconds is possible. I have already posted my strategy for this level at the sonic advance 3 board on gamefaqs so could blueblaze please post how your strategy differed from mine (other than the r trick in the air part).
