MasterC brought up the idea of the two of us racing SA2B. I'm sure other people would be interested too (since it's so popular, and since the HD version came out so recently). So I'm definitely interested in participating. Maybe we could do something like the big 96 exit race on SRL for the #SMW marathon...

That's awesome, I'd definitely be interested in racing. Maybe just an "All A Ranks" race would be better, but I'd do either. :P

So yeah, this has been done...

It was done by itsPersonnal and I. We got together, and took turns. It was done over the course of 2 days, but the game and timer were paused overnight, and resumed the next day. So, I guess it's not exactly Single-Segment, but whatever. The entire run was streamed here:

Considering this was the first run, we've learned a lot from it, because we got completely lost when it came to Chao raising, but for next time the idea will be to have a really crappy hero and dark Chao just to unlock the races, and have a neutral Chao to actually use. To be honest, proper Chao raising could probably save about 2 hours off of this... Anyway, our guess is that this could be taken down to about 15-16 hours Real-Time/~13 Game-Time, due to many stupid mistakes and levels that we haven't practiced getting A ranks on (Sand Ocean M4, Mission Street M1 during Hero Story).

I'd even go so far as to say that I'd be interested in racing this category (call me crazy), and hopefully this gets more people interested in this.

My skype name is just "ptorflaxendrosis", and also, I had an idea for Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, if anyone's interested. We could do a low % type thing, and skip unnecessary items. I've been looking into low % in SA2B for a while and, with some help from some fellow TSCers, have found many items can be skipped. All of Sonic's items, all of shadow's, all of rouge's, all but one of knuckles', all but one of eggman's, and all but two of tails'. (on the GC version, which is what I have.)

It makes for a pretty interesting, and difficult twist to the story modes. I think people would be interested in seeing the tricks that have to be pulled off.

I assume this will be a long way away, but when do you think this will take place?

I'm just wondering because atm I have awful internet, and I'm getting better internet in a week or so. Then I should be able to stream. I'd like to think that several attempts at LPing would make me knowledgable for commentary, meaning it probably wouldn't be boring to watch. I'd be willing to do:

- Sonic Adventure 2: Battle - In the list of games at the top of this topic it says a run from one story and show green hill too. Does that mean beat one story, then go play greeh hill? or is that referring to SADX or Heroes? Either way, I'd do a story mode run.

- Sonic Colours Wii - Egg Shuttle run and possible a few Game Land stages, sounds great! I'm not sure what the plan would be exactly for the Game Land stuff, but it doesn't matter, really.

- Blue Sphere - I'm not sure exactly how interested people would be in watching someone play Blue Sphere, but I'd do it. I'm fairly good at it, and I have Mega Collection.

All in all it seems like a great idea, I'm more than willing to contribute! :)

Yeah, it seems only fair to me.. Although, I'm not sure if anyone's been online/cared enough to look into this topic recently.

I beat all the times except for City Escape, but I can redo it if necessary.

poor editing? The only editing involved in those videos is the deaths in CE.. The Settings for Movie Maker don't matter, it has a mind of it's own. Gamecube? What does that have to do with anything? I play on a Wii btw. I'm confused.

Ok, I've recorded these 4 videos, unfortunately, they have horrible quality... All of them beat the "BS" submitted times, except for 2, City Escape m1, and Security hall m3. Although they're within a second off. If you're curiosity isn't quite satisfied with these, I can try again to record them all, hopefully with better quality. Route 101 will be recorded tonight, I got 46.30 yesterday, but I'm not really satisfied with that.

Ok, SpinDashMaster, I agree with you, and thank you so much for considering my unban. Two weeks should be plenty, I will try my best. Although, like you guys said, I too have a life outside of internet, one that as of right now is full of distractions such as family, school, ect. That is by no means an excuse though. I'll do my best to get video proof for those 5 stats.

Maybe, although that wasn't the file I used for speedrunning. It was my old file with only 169 emblems on it, aside from green hill obviously, not that it matters really because if I'm not mistaken, my time for green hill zone back then was absolutely horrible.

Alright, this certainly does not look good. Although, I would not just BS my stats intentionally, most likely typo's. It was a long time ago. My memory card was corrupt and had to be formatted, although I do have legitimate proof of some of my stats, and can be submitted accordingly.

As I said before, I don't understand this forum too well, so I did not know whether or not I needed permission to start a new topic, and/or where to start it. Again, I'm sorry. I was not aware of all the people that have tried to get themselves unbanned, so it makes sense that this topic was ignored, and I do realize that people on TSC do in fact have lives outside of the internet. I'm sorry if I seem ignorant, but I do see a reason for me to be unbanned.

I have a youtube channel with videos of a few of my speedruns, not all of them are my best though. I have some times (not many) saved to my memory card that I can take screenshots of. The BS stats were most likely typo's, and/or going by memory which was definitely a bad decision. I had no intention of starting such controversy over my stats, and definitely did not try to BS anything, it wasn't intentional. If given the chance to submit again, I will submit nothing but actual stats (no typos) with actual proof, I promise.

Once again, extremely sorry for causing such debate.

I'll go ahead and make a new topic here.

So yeah, I was banned from submitting because I had never proved any of my stats, and yes I did have loads of time to prove them, and never did. That is because I barely understood the site ( :P ) and never really went to the forums. Now I understand the site, and I can prove every stat I submit. The problem being, I'm banned.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience I may have caused in the past, I'm hoping I will be unbanned and allowed to submit my stats. Everything submitted will have legitimate proof to go with it.

Ok, I'm currently banned from submitting, because I've never prooved my stats. I was new to the site, and never visited the forum. However, I now would like to start submitting some new stats, and now I will be able to proove all of them.

I'm sorry for not having proved my stats before, had I known I needed to, I would have. Please can I be granted the ability to submit again, everything submitted will have proof to go with it.
