Title: Team Blast Glitch
Post by: Rolken on February 18, 2004, 04:20:15 pm: For those who don't know yet, if you press B+X/B+Y while in flying mode, it's possible to fill up your team blast meter in just a few seconds. Obviously, this dramatically changes how Team Dark works.

But for levels like mystic mansion, you can have that done really quick cause you dont have to run that much. So my vote is put bosses, and dark and some of sonic chaotix and roses levels, that have the giant guys that you have to break off their helm to kill in freestyle.

And it is a glitch, i think whats happening is tails has no one to throw but himself so he just sits there and attacks himeself therefore making the gauge go up. (I said therefore in a sentence :D )

I think thats about it, theyre might be an advantage in bingo highway but I doubt it.

Egg Emperor: 00:15:71
Metal Madness: 01:49:43

Times like that should be considered free style

It just shows skill if it DOES go into freestyle, which is fine by me =) but I still think it should be in all modes

I Have all of those times beat so if we have freestyle it wouldnt be first, I dont put TBG times on there.

I'm late to comment on this, as I haven't owned the game for long, but All Team Rose levels and bosses would apply, as you get an invincibility and a level-up for the leader after using their team blast. Also, Team Chaotix's team blast can give you a lot of points during the team Blast (I think I'v gotten 3200, but that is unconfirmed, and this only works for chaotix, and only if there are no enemies around) So it would affect score attacking. finally, some of Team Sonic's levels would be affected, because if you Team blast, and then use blue tornado (jump, then B ) then you can fall through some floors, giving you a shortcut in a few levels.

I beat SHADOW JACKY's Seaside Hill score w/o the Team Blast Glitch. To be honest, i thought it was illegal to use it out side of Freestyle.

For example, I know from experience that it takes at least 30 seconds for a team to reach the area in the Egg Emperor boss battle where you can start to inflict major damage to it.

As such, I think TB should be disallowed altogether for Chaotix Ring Attack, when gained by any means. Although... if TBG is allowed for that then they are still limited to the number of enemies in a level... but it's too much randomness.
