I hate the sonic 2 special stage.Haven't passed stage 4 to this day.s1 and s3&k special stages are a piece of cake. Good night

Eh...Special Stages are just sorta there. I don't really like nor hate them. SLW3DS's were sorta annoying, but it's not like it's necessary.

The Special Stage that i probably hate the most is Sonic Rush Special Stage 7, mainly because of ALL OF THE DARN SPIKEBALLS and i already didn't like the stylus touch controls -__-

Same, Sonic 2 for me as well. Not because of difficulty really, but because they can't stop perpetually jerking it off with uninspired variants of it. HEY REMEMBER THE SONIC 2 SS GUYS?!?! Yeah I do, it was shit. Blue Sphere 4 lyfe

The worst is the first special stage in Sonic 1. Getting all the 104 rings is a torture here. It is even harder and worse on the GBA game because of the broken R and physics.

Lost World 3DS. They're impossible to do while sitting so you have to stand and spin around like an idiot. After a while you'd just get dizzy.
At first I tried just holding X(?) to keep my angle and then reorient my 3DS, then keep on turning like that, but that always made me run out of time. Standing is by far the best option but my god is it terrible

Plz, what am I, 11? I only like pre-06 Knux anyway because Sega decided to ruin his character after that
I have difficulty with pretty much every special stage out of the ones I've played >_> but at least some of them are somewhat fun at the same time. I find S1/S4E1 special stages to be incredibly "meh"; when it comes to the other games I'm usually okay with them except for one or two specific stages (S4E2's 7th one...>_>)
Also, I don't even mind SLW3DS' that much. They're not amazing or anything, but they aren't that infuriating either. Too bad the game as a whole is shit.

I hate every Special Stage I ever tried, but especially Sonic 2 and 3's. I'm so noob at these ones.

Any Sonic Heroes special stage, because stupid random shit happens like you just spin up the tube and stop dead in your tracks, jumping slows you down like nobody's business, the bomb rows in later stages have extremely narrow gaps and also stop you dead in your tracks, and your characters have the acceleration characteristics of a forklift. You either get good luck with boost balloons and catch the emerald near the start, making it way too easy, or you get left in the dust and have to pray you can catch up before you run out of time.
Sonic 2 special stages are a bit unfair because they depend on memorization, which means your odds of clearing most of them on the first attempt are not good, but once you know them they're totally predictable. Plus the game gives you all sorts of attempts at them since any star posts can get you back to them if you can scrounge up 50 rings. I like the Sonic 3 special stages the best.

Lost World 3DS is awful to play.
Sonic 2 has to be memorized.
Sonic Rush ST7 is damn hard.

I'd have to say some of the Super Emerald stages in S3&K, one took me some 50 tries to get right.

Of the ones I've tried, Sonic CD's are the worst. Apparently the UFOs being stationary was too easy...

I don't recall hating any particular special stages, but Sonic 1's special stages can be a little frustrating at times. I never found getting the emeralds all that easy on that as I always put myself in a goal. Hats off to all those that can collect all the rings in them!
