Title: Topic 12 - Are there Sonic games you've never played that you want to play?
Post by: hfactor66 on December 29, 2014, 02:22:12 pm: This time I'm just gonna get right to it. Is there a Sonic game (or games) that you wish you would have played?

There's a lot of Sonic games I wish I could play, like many of the 3DS Sonic titles, I don't have a 3DS & I want to play them so bad! I want to play either of the Sonic Boom titles cuz I wanna see how the games turned out, as they were highly anticipated by some of the community. I've seen some episodes of the show, and it's alright.

What about you?

Post by: chainchump on December 29, 2014, 02:49:38 pm: When Sonic 06 came out 8 years ago, I really wanted to get it, but I wasn't allowed it because I was only 10 years old at the time (the game being rated a 12+ here in the UK.) I slowly forgot about the game until I joined this site 3 years ago when I was reminded that it existed. I watched a few videos and saw how buggy and glitchy the game was, so I didn't really want to play it anymore, lol. However, I'm a big fan of speedrunning and glitches in general, so one day I might wander into a game store, notice a copy on the shelf and take it home with me.

Most of what I know about those games comes from back when I watched speedruns posted on SDA. I think I'd most like to play Sonic 3 or S&K, to see what the game looks like when the player doesn't break it. (Or at least, doesn't break it intentionally.)

Besides those few, I've played pretty much every major Sonic title. I've only been a fan for five years or so and I've played more games than people who have been fans for over a decade...huh.

Well okay I haven't played S1GBA yet either but I don't think that will be necessary

I guess I'd like to try Generations 3DS or Lost World U, out of sheer curiosity more than anything else, since they seem pretty mediocre. I have both systems, but no interest in paying over $25 for either of these.

I'm also somewhat interested in Knuckles' Chaotix and Pocket Adventure, but I'm not getting a 32X or an NGPC anytime soon.

Unfortunately SG 3DS is only game I can buy, because I have 3DS, but I don't have Wii or Wii U.

What UG95 said, if they ever make one that really appeals to me, (like going back to classic-style, or if there was a spin-off from twinkle circuit) I'd love to play those, but realistically I just can't get into the new-genre of Sonic games, and can't see that changing any time soon.

Unleashed PS2. Just curious about this one.

Colors DS. I can only imagine how much I would hate this one considering I'm not a fan of the Rush games and their gameplay. I just want to see how much I don't like it.

Newer one,but Sonic Boom Rise Of Lyric. I just want to know how bad this can be,considering it's claimed worse than 06 by a fair amount of people now.

I'd like to play the Wii U version of Sonic Lost World, only have the 3DS version.
Also Shadow the Hedgehog, I own it, and keep meaning to play it, but haven't yet got round to it.

i absolutely like The M-Speed Glitch :D it's very cool and it makes the game AWESOME
i like the broken games :P and enjoy breaking it :D
