This topic is for Pokemon Crystal since Pokemon Crater is slow.
Question: How long will it take me to raise Scyther from level 19 to Lv. 80???

Well... erm... that's not very specific... probably a few dozen hours, though it depends on the game and your methods.

Assuming that he just caught it or happened to meet lv19 by exactly the required exp... :P

Well, I caught it at lv. 15 and it has exactly no EXP for it's current lvl... Thanks SM again. (first thanks was for me being idiot topic) !! I can't catch Entei and Raikou so I am trying to raise Jumpluff to whatever level... What level will Jumpluff be able to attack first agianst lvl. 40 Raikou and Entei??? Here's my strategy...

Scyther at level 80 uses False Swipe and brings Raikou/Entei down to 1 HP
Nexttime, Jumpluff uses Sleep Powder
After Jumpluff Sleep Powdres, I use Ultra Ball and catch Raikou/Entei

I use this part of Perfect Guide strategy...
... you can select the "Area" command in its Pokedex entry to see its current location...
... Fly to a central location, like Violet City, and see if they are a route or two away. If theyare, move in their direction and hope they are still there. If they're not, just Fly back to Violet to shuffle up their locations...
... Use Sleep. Moves like Mean Look are tempting, but Entei and Raikou know "Roar" to end fights like that....

The guide says to use Fast Balls, Heavy Balls, and Friendship Balls. WTF???

Now my Scyther is at lv. sub-20 so you go all eat a cookie and wait for me to post that I got Raikou and Entei how do you get Quick Claw for Jumpluff???

I still give Jumpluff Quick Claw and Speed enhancement. Just to make sure I also give Scyther Speed and Attack enhancement

My Jumpluff attacked first then Raikou woke up and used Leer I tried to use Sleep powder again and it ran.
