His calsign is Mentaiko, and I want to tell people about him because he's not too good with speaking english, but his skills and dedication should not be overlooked.

Yes, I'm aware the game isn't the best, but someone, anyone, breaking a record on this site and having vid to back it up is worth taking a peek at, especially for those vying to beat the best, at the moment.

I like his modesty, but Sega doesn't hate their cash cow symbol, it's their fans that they hate.

Ah, Mentaiko. I remember when he used to play Sonic and the Secret Rings, he had some pretty good times and I learned a few strategies from him. I tried to get him to join TSC, but he insists he is not good enough.

clearly if he's beating some of TSC's records, he's good enough.

Not every Sonic speedrunner knows about TSC instantly.

Going from his YT profile info, maybe he's too uncomfortable about his English ability to join an English site.  Come to think of it, we do have the site functionality (http://www.soniccenter.org/forum/index.php?topic=4311.0) to translate TSC into another language, though no one's done it yet...
