Hi, I really like sonic games especially the old ones like sonic 1. If anyone could show me how this website works, ill be grateful

EDIT: I just got 25 seconds on green hill zone act 1 for sonic 1, but i don't know where to put the video, can someone help me

Proof isn't necessary unless someone requests it.  You can click "Statistics" on the left side of any page on the site underneath "Submissions" to submit your stats (and while you're at it, read the competition rules to know what's not allowed).

In fact you only need to submit a video when you want to show off some new record smashing technique

ok, i might post some speedruns on my youtube channel (Tsunamishadow) if i get the time, right now, i just got off school for summer holidays and hope to be able to get some good times, rings and scores for sonic 1

that's a score video. >_>

but yeah, videos typically serve to demonstrate strategies or glitches, essentially to help teach people how to compete in a level. they're also the best form of proof but we usually won't require proof unless we have reason to believe your stats aren't honest. in this case, the site already has a 0:25 GH1 video, so to prevent the videos page from getting too cluttered up don't post it.

yep, i plan to be in the top 20 by the end of the year, i no its gonna be hard, but lifes a challenge
