I personally think that the TMMC is a very great subsite of the TSC, it just lacks the interest. In this topic I am going to list every game here and make suggestions. I will add any other suggestions that I agree with on this post. Please debate and add more suggestions below.
Mega Man 9
Mega Man Battle Network
- It is not possible to get Life Virus' time
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bXOCxBYuDc (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bXOCxBYuDc) - Can someone confirm what he says at 0:07 for me. I don't own this game. If it works ban it.
Seems people are struggling to get thsi code to work. Maybe he has a hacked version. A general rule banning any form of cheat codes is probably the best option
[/list] for this issue.
Mega Man Battle Network 2
- It is not possible to get Gospel's time
- Extra Division where you have to use the folders you can't edit. Kind of like Senrenade's Time Trial in Battle Network 3.

For the next few days, I'll be investigating the mini games for Mega Man Zero 3-4.

Maybe in Star force you could even out the disadvantages by having standard battle cards listed for timed bosses

I don't understand what your trying to say. Can you elaborate?
-
Well i recall there being a card folder that you could not edit. maybe we could use that folder for competition?

Oh that. I know battle network 3 has that, but that's because there's actually a part of the game where you have to do that. I'll add the idea to Star Force and Battle Network.

Time Division for Mega Man Starforce 3.
- Spade Magnes
- Taurus Fire
- Diamond Ice
- Club Strong
- Dark Phantom
- Queen Virgo
- Acid Ace
- Rogue
- Jack Corvus
- Dread Joker
- Crimson Dragon
- Wolf Woods
- Cygnus Wing
- Moon Destroyer
- Apollo Flame
- Sirius
I do not own the game yet. This information was taken from http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/946070/57070 (http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/946070/57070). If there are more bosses or some of these bosses' time are not possible to get blame BlackSpyro_33.
Edit: All these bosses are ready for the charts.
-
Hmm...they have more than V3/SP forms?
Now to discuss which one to use for the charts...

I was thinking of RV charts for BN6.
-
So..what levels do we have to fight them at (MMSF3)? Is there a set form we have to fight?

At first I was thinking the obvious V3 but now I realize that there's a harder version, but I forget what they're called. The version that actually saves your best time in the after game.
Edit: Except Crimson Dragon which you have to do the even harder version to get a time.

V3 doesn't save. I managed to encounter Dread Joker V3 twice and no save.
I've just found the R(ebuilt) makes and they save your time after you beat them on the noise waves/astro waves etc. I'll get back to you once i find the whole list.
And i'll get magnum to create the charts needed once everything is finalised.

Sigma Version? Those are rare encounters and you have to have Wi-Fi enabled to even unlock it. Same goes with MoonDestroyer, ApolloFlame and Sirius. I'm not too sure with what to do with DreadJokerRR/AcidAceBB either, since you have to beat your version specific character to get the BA/RJ badge, needed to unlock the sigma versions. This badge is also needed to unlock Rouge ZZ.
Otherwise the final list shall be:
SpadeMagnesR
DiamondIceR
ClubStrongR
QueenVirgoR
JackCorvusR
DreadJokerR
AcidAceR
MoonDestroyerR
TaurusFireR
CygnusWingR
WolfWoodsR
DarkPhantomR
The R boss versions times save in the Megaman Option. Whereas the V3 Versions dont. Should we also add V3 Times in, in a different chart? Or would that be too much of a hassle?
-
Thanks for correcting me. Still haven't actually finished the aftergame :P
I really don't think V3 is needed.

The Bonus chapter is so damn long and annoying >_<
Okay so we'll leave V3 out, now to deal with the "Sigma" Version. Should we add or leave them out of the charts?
EDIT: Omega Versions don't save either so we'll consider them to be left out like the V3 ones

I have them written down. Big question is how does the game format its time? Is it second time, centisecond time, or millisecond time?
The 2nd Mega Man Legends was actually MML2. I'll need to explore what competitive options that game has in order to determine how to deal with it.

Its in centiseconds. I guess if i'm able to find out if Sigma times are competable in then we'll add them later :/

The charts (times) should be up about now. If Sigma is up for grabs, it will be added to the charts.
-Next items on the agenda (in order). 1. Mega Man 9. I'm assuming that endless is score based. Is special a timed stage or another score (I don't think I have that DLC yet)?
2. Extra divisions to BN and SF. Assuming that they are times, they should not be very hard, just take some time.

Special Is only accessible through Time Attack so yes. It also is in centis.
Endless Records the number of screens you go through so it would have to be a value.
For the Star Force Extra divisions, they are exactly the same as The Previous SP/R versions just a different card set. So the time format remains the same.
EDIT: Also there seems to be no overall Chart for Star Force 3.
-
The overall problem with SF3 should be fixed. Endless and special for MM9 have been added. From now on, items I take care of are going to be marked with a X in the first post.
As for the cyber elf issue, I'm thinking of changing the rules for Z 1 and 2 to only not allowing Hacker elves (animal elves and nurse elves don't seem to be that much of a threat. For Z3, I'm thinking about allowing Satelite elves for the same reason. I do need the approval of the other admins before hand. As for Z4, the problem of enforcement issues becomes very complicated as the result of the master elf system.
I expect to have the extra divisions built tommorow or Wednesday. As for rule wording, "All extra runs must be done using the extra folder" is a rough draft, but I'll need approval (the rules are a democratic process) before fully incorporating them.
-
How about these?:
SF1:
Extra Division:
You can only use the EXTRAFLD card folder for battles.
SF2:
Extra Division:
You can only use the XtraFldr card folder for battles.
SF3:
Bosses Division:
Bosses must be version "R" for times to count.
Extra Division:
You can only use the XtraFldr card folder for battles.
-
This is just something random I'm throwing out because I can already think of many reasons why this wouldn't be such a great idea, but how about a Score division for Mega Man 1.
-
Its un-competitive since the enemies can repawn thus making an infinite score. Sorry ^_^
