Hey, just trying to figure out who is still interested in a Summer league. I know a lot of those from Spring don't want to continue on, so just trying to figure out who is interested. Would probably end up starting near the beginning of July. So, any and all possible interestees, please post. And also if you were in the Spring league and are interested in being in the summer league too, want to know that. I'll use this topic to discuss changes to the format as well (which will be tweaks more than anything), but just want to guage interest for now.

Well, with things like
[23:28:40] <flyby> the goal is that neither person like the levels, so you hating levels just confirms that he is doing his job
I don't see how anyone is interested in these leagues.

Yeah Miles I seriously think that was just terrible wording. That was not my idea at all.
Anyway I would be in, solo, but I note a few problems. The first and most obvious is that everyone seems to be nooby wusses and not want to compete. The other main problem I see, is that going trhough that league levels used in prior leagues were avioded. We are down to like 4 Sonic 1 levels, seriously <_<
The only thing I can think of to tweak would be record achievements, specify the amount for each game. (Or perhaps like the amount given is the weight of the game? iono <_<)

I guess I will do the summer league too. I have nothing else better to do in competition wise. So why not, I'm game. Someone like me has to take to the chances seriously and get into the fun of it all. So yeah I will be in this one as it looks. I'd also look for a partner this time if "he" does want to be this one too. If not then It would be me alone unless Faire makes it back but he said he'd be gone for awhile so that won't happen.

However, I will not be joining, as the time required would be terribly problematic for me.

RPG I don't understand you... first to truncate two letters of the word You, then you add two letters onto the next word. Unless you're wanting to maintain the same amount of typing so that you can emphasize the latter term, you really do make me want to cry.

Understanding the mental process that takes place in RPG's estranged brain is like trying to comprehend quantum physics at the age of three. It's not going to happen. Ever.
Also I think the reason interest was lost in the end of the last league is the whole competitive thing in the end. After 6 weeks, I for one thought it got to be too much. That, plus the fact that our level choice was gone come playoff time made it less fun. And I joined the league for fun purposes, so that really took a lot out of me.

Team format didnt work as well as i thought. I'd enter this as a singular participant this time.

I *may* actually enter this one. Only issue is, my GC controller just broke ... we'd have to see how long it is before my kid brother wants a new one, or until I decide to actually open the thing myself and see what it takes to fix it (joystick bias). Eh well, it only cost $5 in the first place. And I can still compete by PC (SMC+ SADX SH) and in SUWii (but with Wiimote+Nunchuk for inaccurate boost action <_< )

Ok, thinking about running this starting July 6th. I am thinking 6 weeks again should be good, but that is subject to change. I think much longer than that and it would drag on too long.
