In flyby's Sonic league the raw results of week 3 (http://league.soniccenter.org/rankings/spring_2009_league/week_3/raw_score/total) have been released and week 4 competition (http://league.soniccenter.org/rankings/spring_2009_league/week_4) has begun. I'm told that new entrants still have a shot at the finals if they get in and submit some quality stats, though they won't be earning any awards in the preliminaries at this point.
In other news, oldskoolgamer101 is embarking on an experiment (http://www.soniccenter.org/forum/index.php?topic=4276.0) in exploring SEGA games of days gone by. His first entry is on the venerable Sega Rally Championship (http://www.soniccenter.org/forum/index.php?topic=4280.0).
Finally, I'm setting out to clean up (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_refactoring) the creakiest parts of TSC's old codebase, starting with the interface. I'm not sure how much difference you'll actually see rise to the surface level as a TSC member, but if you have any concerns or suggestions about the way the site works (as opposed to the usual ranking chart changes) now would be a good time to get them in, big or small.

What's broken about it? It works fine for me. I thought it might be an Opera bug, but it appears to work fine for me in that too. Are you restricting cookies? Is anyone else having the same problem?

I assume you mean the forum search; can you give me an example of something you have searched for that didn't give you good results, and the page you were looking for if you eventually found it? I've never actually used it much, but I see there's a mod (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=887) that purports to improve it. (The forum is developed by an external company and integrated with TSC, so it is fairly easy to fix something if there's a mod for it on their and really annoying otherwise). Any time I try to log in from the front page it says I messed up my login info I think. I've gotten used to just clicking on the forum first.

Yeah, whenever it happens that I have to log in from the front page it always gives me the "You should enter a Username" page after trying. Doesn't usually matter as I just stay logged in, but it's odd when it happens.

When you intentionally "IP banned" S&A from TSC did you also intentionally put a complete block on anyone who tries to log in on his computer? Because I cannot log in on his computer at all. If it' supposed to do that then I'm not surprised.

You CANNOT login on the front page unless "www.", "unofficial.", "megaman.", "mario.", or "league." are in front of "soniccenter.org". This needs fixing. It says, "You should fill in a username."

I have updated Compact View to support the new experimental data table layout. If anyone wants to try this, simply append the following to a URL:
/experimental|view:compact
For example:

This data table doesn't have a context menu yet. Please report any bugs.
