...no.

What that proved to me was that you learned how to use MPF or ESEII Sound Importer; whoop-do-doo. I understand that the DAC is replaced with PWM on 32X hardware and that it's not exactly easy to adjust for, but not adjusting the PSG pitch when pulling from Sonic 3 & Knuckles? That pretty well shows that you didn't so much as open any of the music in a hex editor to attempt to touch it up.

Also, having Azure Lake's tune in Green Hill is considered pretty tacky at this point, for obvious reasons. That, and the level edit is patchwork... did you test your layout after making it? If you'd done any testing, you'd see that your new loop isn't flagged, so you can't get around it.

...then why not release the Genesis version, if that's what you worked on before the 32X job? Unless you had a reason to move it to 32X, it's silly to do so, since it means that many emulator users have to get BIOS files if their emulator isn't pre-configured for 32X.

Just because a guide exists to port it to 32X doesn't mean everybody should bandwagon and put it there.

...but everything you did could have been done in a hex editor and SonED1 very easily. You didn't need a disassembly at all. :s

Somehow, I doubt a hex editor crashed your computer. There's a billion different hex editors out there, and you mean to tell me that all of the good, free ones crash your computer? >_> I doubted the Genesis disassembly was responsible for repeated crashing, too, but this just takes the cake. This was a bandwagon attempt that was released WWWAAAYYY before it was ready. Do more work than churning music through a utility, and THEN release it.
