Okay, so now we have the score attack thingy, how about putting up Sonic Battle? Challenge Mode of course, seeing as that's the only thing you get scored in.
The 'Levels' could be each character, and the 'Divisions' would be the difficulty (One Ring, Two Ring, Three Ring).
And it would be a good idea to impose a rule that no combo card maybe used on Emerl for his Challenge Mode.
And on the tangent of score-only games, why not Spinball? Oh yeah... it sucks... :P

What's the point of limiting Emerl's skill list? It's not as though he doesn't already have enough broken move choices.
And as for why no Spinball, it's fairly obvious. All you have to do, for the most part, is keep the ball in play for as long as you want, and you can score arbitrarily high. There's no reasonable choice of rule for stopping this, so the game is thrown out for the same reason that score isn't tracked in levels like Sonic's Casinopolis.

Hmm I just thought the combo cards were a bit too powerful... but I guess if everyone can use them - as they are easy to obtain - then it would be fine.
But what about the main idea of my post? Yea or nae?
-
I'll add it, but wait about an hour first.

The player's view pages don't display. >_>;;

You could always impose a rule on Spinball that you have to get a time bonus or something like that...
Hehe, yeah, I'm one of the few that actually wants to see Spinball on TSC :P

In one light, what Sadistic has already said, keep the ball in the game for an arbitrarily long time, and it doesn't matter. There's no competition.
But in another light, everyone is bound to screw up some time, or get tired of playing. Why not see how high people can actually get, no limits?

What about Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine?
am I the only one who wants that in the ranks?
