Title: Xbox 360 version of Sonic 1 should be banned.

You can use savestates to save at any time. Also I assume this also applies for Sonic 2 live but I don't have/want that.

Emulators let you use savestates at any time, too.  The rules state quite clearly that savestates are not allowed.  You can use the 360 version, but as long as you don't save mid-level.
