I have yet to be given a compelling reason why we have to shield TSCers from the Dark Side...

I mean, it obviously gave mike Sonic skill. It's given Rolken the power to host this web site. It's also given those people fame, fortune, women, enlarged penises, Jedi skills, super speed and strength, invulnerability, wings, psycho/cyro/pyrokinesis, the means to trigger the apocalypse, and free milk and cookies. Personally I say we all go over to the dark side and form one Dark TSC.

..to hell with this place, I want me some goddamn milk and cookies.

^Yeah, I had an IT guy who lived across the street from my old house install Ubuntu over my old Millenium Edition about three years ago. Of course, he never told me the password to log in. >_> That's why I now have OpenSUSE over top of it, but since the computer has no wireless adapter I'm using this Vista laptop.


Paragraph directed at those reading this due to Vista shenanigans:
Lemme compare my four-year-old XP desktop and my five-month-old Vista laptop not in terms of features or operating systems, but in terms of what I personally want/need from a computer:

Since I don't do anything that Vista is known for crippling, in my eyes I've upgraded. Plus, would you have turned down a new Vista machine if you had an employee discount on it and it did everything you cared to? (btw if you're Gerbil we already know your answer and we still don't care k) I'm not stupid; I know Vista sucks, it's just that it doesn't affect me personally and therefore I have no problem with it.


Paragraph directed at those enjoying SkyLights' interpretation of "evil" and the "Dark Side":
SkyLights, as a Tikal worshipper surely you of all people are aware that the Emeralds possess positive and negative energies; I for one think that to truly become a strong person one must be in touch with both. I have access to UNIX, Macintosh, and Windows machines, and I meditate a bit every day to feel the energies flow through me, able to harness whatever I care to. Notice that those on the "evil" list have never tried to hurt TSC. As with the square-rectangle relationship, the corrupt enjoy Dark energies but those who possess Dark energies are not necessarily corrupt. The Dark Side does not poison your brain; rather those who are already poisoned abuse its power. And again, the Dark Side has milk and cookies.

Don't blame me. I hate Windows Vista and its "point and grunt" interface. Point & grunt also describes menus at fast food places since everythings a picture now instead of a written menu.
