Another idea stolen from the Mario Kart community, we're going to predict what the top 20 sitewide will look like at the end of the year (or perhaps we'll make it the end of June by which time everyone will be bored with the concept?).
For reference, the current list resides here (http://www.soniccenter.org/rankings/sitewide).
Scoring will take place as follows: If you manage a correct guess, its 0 points. One away is one point, two away is two points and so on. Add these scores up for all 20 eventual top 20-ers and you have your final score. Lowest score wins, of course.
And a key point: if anyone new joins the top 20, they'll be disregarded in the final count. So if someone reaches 12th position that wasn't a member at the end of January, everyone below them will be moved up one place for the purposes of this contest.

It's my goal to make the top 20, once I STOP BEING ADDICTED TO SA(DX) and play some other games. As for everyone else, I think many of them will be assassinated, and thus will be removed henceforth from the charts.
I have faith in you, Magnezone, as long as you don't find a way to bring Tikal into this.

I've been thinking about making a future Top 20 prediction myself, but never got around to writing down my thoughts down before. It's still at the end of January in UTC time, and you haven't logged on yet so I doubt that you have already sealed the conclusive document.
#1: eredani (Everyone who posted a list in this topic seem to think that I have nothing left to prove just because I'm not competing much and mostly only have partially-filled brackets with a few notable exceptions. Well, this should give you an idea of what's coming up ahead.)
#2: DarkspinesSonic (Considering that he managed to claim the championships of several games within just a few months of joining, regardless of how obscure and unplayed they are, and the fact that multiple competitors are so threatened by him that they have grouped up to try and collectively keep him from the top ranks, surely he and his will to compete can't be an empty threat?)

In order to show up all the people who had little to no faith in my sonic playing ability (except eredani who may have had too much >_>), I have decided to make a checklist that, by the end of the year, I -must- complete. I can make the top twenty without doing any of it (like right now!), but I think accomplishing these things to secure I higher ranking is an even better prospect. As such, I really want to accomplish this checklist and hopefully make eredani proud!
1.) Do s3db rings (DONE)
2.) Orange/Red in s1 with a complete chart (MOSTLY DONE)
3.) Play some of s2/s3, possibly completing those charts as well.
4.) Get into mid/high orange in s3db, or even a low red. (DONE)
5.) Purchase Shadow The Hedgehog and find my way into the red
6.) Purchase Sonic Heroes and Find my way into the low red or high orange. (PURCHASING: DONE. RANKING: IN PROGRESS)
7.) Complete my Sonic Adventure 2 ring charts for a higher percentage. Also, unlock green hill again and get reasonable scores and rings on it.
8.) Do s1 special stages leadership.
9.) Complete my ring chains in SSR and take back the champ. (DONE)
Can I do it? I sure hope!

I'm not sure why all but two people here (though only one of them has a valid opinion) predicted I'd make it into the top 20 by the end of the year or June. Right now, I'm in 19th and nobody within 3 spots behind me are doing much playing, and only one of them has submitted anything this month (and GS probably won't be submitted to any new games unless it happens to be one that doesn't suck). I most likely won't get to 18th unless I start massively playing a game and start submitting charts near the top (which probably won't happen).
This is just my two cents.

but similar to Sprint, he doesn't often compete (many factors, not just laziness)
