... have you played as child? Since most of us are gamers at birth I was wondering what games you guys used to play as a child.
For me, I played some Spider-Man such as Maximum Carnage for the SNES, a little something that involved the Nintendo Super Scope (I forgot the name of it but, basically you shot at huge robots with it), and a game called Primal Rage for the SNES as well (fighting game that had dinosaurs as only selectable characters, my sis always owned me in that game though).

Sonic 1 on the Mega Drive is the first game I ever remember playing

Sonic 1,2,3&knuckles soinc spinball, Ms. Pac-Man, a fighting game, and some other sega games.
For teh 64 umm super smash bro., Super mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Xtreme G 1/2 , Diddy Kong Racing
Pokemon Snap, Bomberman, Road Rash or something, and other games I can remember.
For the Gameboy, Pokemon Puzzle, Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow? Super Mario Bros. and some other games
I dont remember.
And other games I dont remember.

Our first games involved Super Mario World, then Super Mario Kart, then in no particular order: Zelda Link to the Past, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Secret of Mana (repeated rental), Hyperzone (friend's), Star Fox, Super Metroid, Mega Man X... and others. For the Gameboy: Tetris, Mario Land 2, Zelda Link's Awakening, and whatever else. Of course, I loved playing Sonic 2 at a friend's house.
oh and Rick_242 - I am guessing that the Super Scope game you enjoyed was Battle Clash. Never played it, but I remember eyeing it in a Nintendo game guide. I thought it looked like a fun game.

My first games were:
Mega Drive:
- Sonic the Hedgehog (My first game was a Sonic game. yeaa)
- The Smurfs (Hella hard, even today. o_O)
- Super Monaco (It was on the Mega Games 3 collection, but I wasn't allowed to play Super Thunder Blade or Alien Storm.)
Game Boy:
- The Smurfs (Also hard. I traded it away a few years ago.)
- Asterix and Obelix (Traded away as well.)
I got those when I was... Dunno. Somewhere between 3 and 5 years old.
