Very interesting I think. Thanks for this.

This is accurate right? Because now we can make rash judgements and rationalizations!!!

Shun Nakamura - surprised to see he did Sonic06. Samba and Billy Hatcher are a much lighter tone.

Takashi Iizuka - wow he did all of those games and now he's gonna do Nights 2! Is this bad? Heroes and Shadow creative director doing Nights 2? :x

Naoto Ohshima - gonna miss him. Look at his sense of style.

No Problem! ^.^

I am pretty sure this list is accurate. As for the Sonic games, I have all the info from theghz.com, which is a relyable source, although I absolutely hate its Forum, since it is an absolute Sonic-hater forum. As for the other games, I did a lot of research and I am pretty sure I got the directors rights.

Hey, what's wrong with Heroes :? The dude did the Sonic Adventure series as well. Didn't know that. The styles are quite different, yet, similar.

Iizuka for Nights 2. Oh god.

I believe he was in control of Rivals too (which explains a lot).

Takashi Iizuka also was a main designer of Nights into Dreams. I think Nights Journey of Dreams seems to become a great game.

UPDATE!

I have updated the list with some new information. Interesting notes:

- Although Sonic 3D Blast was developed by Traveler's Tales, it was designed by Takao Miyoshi who is responsible for the Phantasy Star Online/Universe series.

- Although Sonic R was developed by Traveler's Tales, it was designed by Takashi Iizuka, who every one should know who he is.

- Although The Sonic Rivals games were developed by Backbone Studios, they were both designed by Takashi Iizuka.

- Although most HandHeld Sonic games have been developed by Dimps, most of them have been designed by Akinori Nishiyama, who works at Sonic Team, not at Dimps. He has also been involved with other Sonic Team games, like the Sonic Adventure series and others.

^ But Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles (STI), Sonic CD and Chaotix (SEGA Enterprises), SOnic R and Sonic 3D (Traveller's Tales), Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes and Shadow (Sonic Team USA), the Advance and Rush series' (Dimps) and the two Rivals games (I forgot) aren't developed by Sonic Team!

I explaned many of these before. It is not about which company developed them, but about the creative directors, who are all part of Sonic Team.

- Sonic 2 & 3 were developed by Sega Technical Institute AND Sonic Team.
- Sonic CD was directed by Naoto Ohshima, who was an imortant member of Sonic Team.
- Knuckles Chaotix isn't even on my list.
- Sonic Team USA is also Sonic Team. It's in the name and the share the same logo. Also Takashi Iizuka was already before the creation of Sonic Team USA an important member of Sonic Team.
- About Sonic 3D, Sonic R, the Sonic Advance and Rush series, and the Sonic Rivals series, look a few post further up, uder "interesting notes".
