Somebody who's more familiar with the mechanics of this boss/Rush's bosses in general PLEASE shoot me down if you know this is possible, but a lead like that looks fucking absurd. Especially given how much effort I know others put in to get what they already got.

The general consensus between myself, SkyLights, and mike89 is that Easy Mode was used. Because even with major luckhax, I think SDM & S&A's times are around the lowest they'll go.

Boss Divisions
Where available, the game's Time Attack mode is to be used for setting records.
On Unknown and Exception, normal mode must be used.
Unless I misinterpret, there is no rule violation.

Time Attack is available for this boss. Difficulty is always on Normal for Time Attack. The difficulty is determined by what's chosen in the options menu for Gameplay. Apparently, Azrael did not use Time Attack.

Well I've already taken appropriate action. Just hope Azrael shows up in this topic so we can slap him on the wrist.
EDIT: oh hey he put different ones up. Perhaps something firmer than a slap on the wrist would suffice heh.

Yeah, something firmer than a slap on the wrist is appropriate. Perhaps a temporary suspension from stats is in order. Can I give him the "anime mishap?" Speaking of rules, why don't we have a general site rule that requires you to use normal difficulty unless specified otherwise (like the one I'm using at TMMC)? With that, we can scrap a whole bunch of extra copies of the same rule. We might also have to require new users (as part of their registration) to read the rules and state that they understand and will abide by them (like a contract).

It only applies in 4 games, though. Hardly worth it. Besides, it's in the rules. >_>

I have just one thing to say to that: On how many license agreements to software do you just click "I agree" without actually reading them?

That is because they're too long and annoying. If we hit new users with rules for a specific game when they try to submit stats for the first time, then that may have a better effect.

When I submitted these, I was trapped in Altitude Limit with BOTH characters. Only a day ago did I get the idea of racking up lives to attack AL with. The first time, I tried with 15 lives, AL 2 took them all. Them I tried with 20. I got schooled by Eggman. After the racking of lives, I propose this edit to the rule:
"You must unlock and use Time Attack to submit stats other than Scores."
OK, normal mode, NO exceptions. Got it.

So... are you going to submit 9:59:99's for those bosses or redo them and submit again or do you want someone to just delete them?

Edit: Switched to normal mode and tried again (in Time Attack). So, according to a misundrstading of a rule I couldn't FULLY comprehend, the BS caller (Crowbar) wins. Lock please.
I fear for my membership here. If I question my own submission, I read the rules. I've done it since I started submissions, ESPECIALLY after I made the "WARNING: Can't prove stats" topic.
