Title: Try this challenge!

Try to go through an act on Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles without destroing a single robot (bosses don't count). It sounds easy but I had problems doing this on a couple acts. Well, stop staring at the computer and try it.

Hidden Palace for the win.

But really, this should be possible on most levels.  Something like the start of Spring Yard 1 could require you to take it slow, but nothing particularly challenging.

Hidden Palace is too easy, try Carnival Night 2 with Sonic or Tails, or Launch Base with anyone.

i feel empty inside after doing this challenge but it killed about  2 hours (well i did the whole game of sonic 2)

Theoretically its impossible to do it for the whole of Sonic 2, Silver Sonic is a robot y'know :P

 plain and simple the stage can not be finished without destroying him unless you have debug mode on

Wild Canyon Mission 5 (I know, but still...)
Death Chamber Mission 5
Death Egg (Sonic 3):Knuckles
and Seaside Hill with Team Dark

Wild Canyon makes for a silly experience there.  Try Metal Harbor 1 instead.

Maybe this is just stupid, but doesn't fighting Robotnik count as fighting a robot?
He's in a machine thing. It's not exactly what I'd call a robot, but what's the difference?
What is the definition of robot, anyway? [/silly complaining]

Well i mostly rely on enemies and robots as such to help me with my speed run, avoiding them would seem almost impossible. But ill give it a go :) Wish me luck :)

Heres a challenge for you, try and complete the Greenhill acts on Sonic 1, in a speed run, without the help of speed shoes. Think it's easy? It's harder then it sounds. Here's my record http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07jKFOLhP88 If someone can do better, let me know.

damn, really? GH1/2 looked flawless to me(ok well he didn't 24 on GH1 but so what :P) not sure on GH3, I guess i'll give it a shot.

ok sure, i'll keep that in mind next time you submit a time to the site ;)

anyway- I got 26/28/48, sucks huh? GH1 just ticked over and I was to lazy to get 25, I hit a spike and got stuck on a rock in GH2, and GH3 was alright but 47 could happen.

I got 25/32/48 doing the no-speed-shoe GH challenge.  Did bad on act 2, and act 3 I can definitely see going to 47, or even 46.

I have a 31/34/1:01 vidded, but that run sucked horrible and was before I saw this.
