Title: Hello there!
Post by: jon_sillito on August 15, 2006, 10:45:18 am
Was just looking around, and was wondering where all the strategies for TAing the Sonic 1/2 levels are?

I'm sure you can all point me in the right direction with your infinite wisdom!

Ta.

Hi there.
Well, the videos here can give you some ideas.  There are also some guides for certain levels of the games.  That's all the info I can give you, since I don't play those games all that much.

Hi, jon_sillito, and welcome to TSC!

As Groudon said, for TA strats you should look at the videos and guides for those games. If they don't contain what you need, you can always post in the forum or go to the chatroom to ask people as well.

Hey mate.

As for those strats then I'll have to agree with what the others have said. If you need help and can't find it on a video or guide, then you can ask the experts a more specific question and get their infinite wisdom that way. The way I tend to get my blatently average runs on that game (26 on Green Hill 1!!!) either comes from those two things or from the TAS runs of those games. You can find the TAS runs on google video and even though you can't do as good as them (using an emulator gives an obvious advantage), they are extremely helpful in finding the best way through the level.

Only if you fiddle with its options

But of course.  But we don't use those for records.  It's pure 100% speed skill.  And yeah, there's videos.  And sometimes guides.
